Thank you for all your amazing teaching. It takes gospel study to a whole new level. I’ve commented before that I lost my fiancé and father 4 weeks apart. It’s been 8 months now. Watching your lesson on D&C 76 in the middle of the night is what led me to you and Ive watched every single day since then and it’s the way I start my day. It has been such a help and my growth in the gospel has been exponential and a much better option than drowning in the depths of despair due to loss. Thank you for everything. Please continue teaching it helps so many.

Dear Brother Halverson, Your videos and lessons have helped me through one of the darkest times of my life. Your insights to the scriptures have brought me to a greater appreciation of the Savior, and my relationship with him has grown so much, and I am able to feel His peace. Although I’ve felt the Spirit many times while reading the Book of Mormon, I’ve never had that same experience when reading the Old Testament on my own. Now it is a delight to me. Thank you for all you do.

I can thank you deeply for your teaching and bringing out the types and shadows of Christ, the deeper meanings and clarification of doctrines, the added cultural information that helps with the understanding of why and what. This brings the stories to life for me. I totally drink in every hour you pour into your lessons. I am learning so much more than I ever could on my own. 1:19:00 I needed to hear... 1:19:55 lesson to be learnt🙂 1:23:12 Yep, fallen into that trap too and struggle with it. Not sure how to deal with this one, to be honest. But...God knows what we're going through with the ' Blame '... I wonder though, if Joseph didn't see a change in his brothers, what would be his attitude towards his brothers? 1:29:00 Has given me great food for thought. 2:47:04 We doubt sometimes to forgive ourselves and beleive Jesus Christ is allowing us to move forward...That's a concept we need to remember, always. Thank you, Bro Jared Halverson for edifying my spirit weekly.

"Lord, increase my faith in Thee so I have power to forgive." I have learned that forgiveness is a deliberate choice. It is a mental decision. Then at some point the Lord fills me with an overwhelming love for the individual and then allows me to feel HIS forgiveness for them. I have especially noticed that the Lord wants His Bishops forgiven. For the above process is ever consistent when the person I need to forgive is/was my Bishop. And it's an amazing feeling!!! In that process, I'm always waiting and looking for the feeling of forgiveness. That's how I know I have been able to forgive. But the process always begins with a conscious mental choice to forgive.

Your Prayer, taking off your shoes ( holy ground) , honering and praising God before your lessons for us, is truly humbling.🙏🏻 , The song 'You know better than I' is a beautiful song, and has great meaning. Forgiveness has its difficulties sometimes, I guess. Not always immediate to forgive because it depends on the trauma and impact on the life/lives , to freely forgive and allow God to take away that pain.

I want them to come down on the side of Christ. I have a difficult time focusing on prayer. I was in a bad car accident and away from home 5 months. I had a hard time praying in the hospital and rehab. Now I just feel unsettled about everything. It’s frustrating and I want my family to realise how blessed we’ve been throughout this trial. I listen to you almost everyday trying to catch up my CFM lessons. I’m just finishing Genesis. I never got so much out of it before in my whole life. I’m 57, and have read it many times; now I understand it. Thank you again. You really are a great and gifted teacher. I wish my son could meet you. We live in Roanoke Virginia. Too far away. His faith crisis is overwhelming sometimes, and my other son refuses to read or listen. It’s hard. Thank you again. Jane DeLoatch

Thank you for your humility and willingness to share these lessons with whomever is willing to learn. I am grateful for the guidance God has given me to be lead here. I will always be grateful for the lesson you gave about the stages of the "Garden, Fall, and Atonement", and how much this analogy can reflect our lives. While there are always different temptations to distract and detract from my fortitude to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I am trying to get back on track and immerse myself in Gospel study from your lessons, as well as other faithful Saints. I wanted to add that I am grateful that you decided to take the time to go through all the verses of the other tribes. I think we know about Ephraim, Judah, and Levi so much, that we unfortunately forget about the other sons of Israel. I am grateful that you helped pull out things that we can learn from each tribe and recognize our weaknesses and strengths. I found myself identifying with some of the personalities or struggles/strengths from the other Tribes of Israel, and I love learning more about how I consider what you're trying to teach me (& others) so that I can get up from where I've fallen short, and become a little bit better than I am, each new day! 🙂❤️

We often worry too much about being tough on oursleves or on others. Sometimes, tough love, as the Savior shows through Joseph to his brothers, is exactly what is needed to learn, for to learn intellectually does not have the same impact as learning situationally via life's consequences, the tangible superiror to the theoretical.

I am so grateful to find a person who sees things so symbolically as I do. Sometimes, I feel crazy cause I feel and learn everything in symbols, and to find someone who teaches on a way higher symbolic level, plus weaves in other amazing history from Jewish religion and cultures and others, is just so amazing. I am glad I "stumbled" onto this site or the algorithms detected my symbolic afinities and tendencies to view things on a spectrum, comparing opposite thinking. So refreshing. Best class ever in my life so far. Thanks again.

What I had never considered before was the differing levels of symbology surrounding the dreams of the prisoners (the baker and butler). One involved the wine/cup, the other the bread, and then the three days in prison before death or escape (life). Never saw that. Wow!

I appreciate your love for all and in every religion and the depth of your study. You are truly an instrument in the Lords hand and blessing so many lives. I love talking with my mother about what we have learned from you! I do believe one of my favorite songs “Better than I” is sung by David Campbell! Cannot wait to hear this lesson. And not to mention all the pictures for each lesson they are AMAZING love the artwork, we are so Blessed each week, it's like partaking of the Sacrament each week with a bonus, not blaspheming here, just saying how much I love to learn the scriptures and the meaning and all that we miss when we read them, this would be my 5th time reading the Old Testament and I love it. I have to add as serious as this lesson is how Brother Jared explains the going through the sacks from Rueben down to Benjamin, how Simeon should have stayed in jail, brings back memories of my sons and I have 9 sons one set of twins with the boys and 3 girls and Heavenly Father knew what he was doing by just giving me 3 girls huh the drama I am like the Kardashians only the poor version 🤣🤣 I know the look on my boy's faces when I have caught them in the act lols they are easy, the girls you need a lie detector 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 sorry carry on with the lesson.
