Thank you for taking us shopping in New England. So relaxing and distracting from current events. Here, in Northern California, the sun is too bright and cool weather is slow to arrive. Leaves are turning but Autumn is arriving so late. We just finished a red flag wind warning for fires. Last month we had terrible fires and last year at this time I was evacuated to my daughters because of fires. That seems to be the 'new normal' around here at this time of year. So to come to New England and see your wonderful treasure hunt and the obvious season change is so relaxing and balm for my soul.

I really wish I could shop in all of these places but they are too far away. However, I have come to realize how much you inspire me to shop my own house! Twice I stopped this video to scurry off and find something seen in your video that I already had packed back someplace. I retrieved them, displayed them and now I am very happy 😊. I´d also like to add that your home makes me feel like I can breathe. I watch many home tours and sometimes the houses are so overdecorated that it makes me feel claustrophobic. You have far less ¨things" and it looks so much better. I guess less is more.

We visited the Berkshires a couple of years ago. I sure wish I had known about all of these amazing consignment stores when I was there. I would have definitely visited them no matter how far I had to drive. Massachusetts is a beautiful state. The seasons are similar to ours here in southern Ontario. Don't you find it hard not to buy everything you see that you love, even if the item is not what you're looking for or doesn't really fit in with your style. I have to really hold myself back, if I didn't my home would be way over the top eclectic.

OH my goodness! I love your taste in home decor.ni actually found almost the exact same pair of lamps at our local goodwill for 24.99 for the pair! I grabbed them as fast as I could. They were absolutely in perfect condition and I did t really need them but now I couldn't live without them. I love the hurricane globes and the brass candlesticks as well. I am always on the hunt for those as well. Thank you for sharing with us!

I have been collecting brown transferware for over 20 years, most of my pieces have come from eBay. I look everytime I'm in a consignment, thrift, antique shop and it is not easy to find. I display it and use it every Thanksgiving. Your home is so beautiful and I'm so glad I found your channel!

I found antique shopping runs in good days and bad days. When it;s good wow it’s really good and I find things I really love. Then bad days I walk out with nothing. So moral is I love those good days.

I also want to mention the buffet lamps! I would have also made a bee line for those lamps, EXACTLY what I have been looking for! I think you have helped me understand how much joy I might experience if I begin in the spring to look more closely for shops in the Seacoast New Hampshire. By the way, my sister and brother-in-laws home in Michigan is filled with elegant portraits of people they don’t know-lol! They name and adopt them also, so you certainly aren’t alone 🙂.

Loved all your finds. I found 2 brass lamps at a goodwill. Beautiful in perfect condition. Orangional tags said 89 dollars apiece.got them for 6 dollars for the pair.It is so beautiful where you live.

I am so excited to see all your projects to come. Linda I have to tell you when you said bring something in...I said take something out, then You showed the brass candlesticks and I said they look like Baldwin brass and then it was the brown and white transfer ware...I was left some by my Auntie who was like a Mom to me. My other aunt never had any children so I was like her daughter too...she owned a gift shop for many years and was very talented like you...painting , decorating etc. She sold the Baldwin brass candlesticks. You have so many great antique thrift shops near you...so lucky. Your home is so restful and soothing...I just cant wait to see it all decked out for Christmas. By the way I think you have a beautiful figure and you look great in the double breasted blazer.❤️

We went to many shops and consignment shops, while we traveled from state to state. It was a fabulous trip! We found lots of furniture, but costs so much to ship to WA. Somewhat different from your New England style, which I love , but your ideas are still perfect for it and I look forward to your craft workshops for Christmas! At the moment France is in complete lockdown. We are only allowed out for essential food shopping and medical reasons. Sharing the video on thrift shopping with you has cheered me up so much. Your painting looks like James Polk, our 11th President. I said, "I think that's Polk!" when I saw him, because of his black band tie.
