I have picked lots of the same things you have up for many years. They are just delightful to display. I am from southwestern Pa so quite a difference. But always loved that style. Downsized about a year ago. So quite a few things had to go. But kept my most loved pieces. But have been picking some other pieces up here and there. So much fun to bring a new find home and figure out where to display it. You have a lovely home, immensely enjoy your videos.

I am a true fan of antique mall, flea market , garage sale and thrift store finds! In 2006 I took pure junk and repurposed everything from these places, decorated a bedroom in a symphony show house where I live and proud to say it won the people’s choice award! I ❤️ the thrill of the hunt for treasures!

I loved the book set of New England shoreline towns! I'm from Nebraska but moved to the East coast at 19 , working as a nanny in Salem and also Marblehead. And years later lived seasonally on Nantucket as a personal chef. I fell in love with New England and it's rich history, architecture, and seafood. Still here 30 years on living in Connecticut in a hundred year old house with my husband not far from the shoreline.

Your “Colbalt Blue” dishes, so pretty- they are “Flow Blue” antiques, popular in the Victorian era....I have a large collection of them, too, and love them- you can actually look up the particular pattern and there are many....they are worth a bit, but haven’t been as popular in recent years but 😍 love them!

Nice tour and such a beautiful home! The wooden curved top trunk appears to me to be an old hide skin truck (they were sometimes wallpapered on the outside as well). The missing hasp and lock would have been iron and you can sometimes find old hasps and locks in thrift stores if you know what you're looking for. I would guestimate it to have been made sometime in the 1820's-1840s. Nice find!!

Love your home! I have the jar on the right that is on your mantle which I think you said was your grandmothers. I think I bought it in the seventies. It had Chantilly Lace body cream in it. It is by Houbigant , hence the H on the lid. I bought it because I loved the jar, it just had an old look to it and I have always loved old things. I still have it and I keep my straight pins in it for sewing. Can’t remember exactly what I paid for it but I think it was around 10.00 with the cream, which I thought was a lot at the time, but I REALLY loved it. They are now on Etsy for almost 30.00. Go figure 😃!
