whatever happens, as a mom, a gym fan, i am super proud of Mykayla!!! mysef and a younger coach at our gym (who also iwatches NCAA) are totally pulling for her! i lived in Mesa in mid 2000s and saw her on local news as an itty bitty all the time. have always read about her career; and honestly, gotta say, i wasnt the biggest fan....until she went to Utah--this is where the pride comes in. such a joy to watch this young lady mature into such a beautiful young woman!!! i am a proud Skinner fan!!!! GO MYKAYLA!!!!!!!!!! YOU can do this!!!

I really love your beam routine and your vaults are medal worthy. This was the first time i've seen the new floor routine and I loved it. I am most excited for your bars though, there is a crazy amount of strength and skill going into that routine and it's so awesome to watch. I truly believe you have got this. Thanks for being so transparent with us Myk! And thanks for explaining what happened after the full in on floor. I was totally vibing to your Polish floor routine and then you just kinda danced a little jig and then did a leap pass and I was like 🤔 but great cover up still I would’ve just stood there😂. At least you still hit every routine but beam and while dealing with what sounds like food poisoning and dealing with you Achilles? Once the judges start scoring your vaults correctly you’ll be unstoppable 💪🏻

I love McKayla, she is such a legend, I totally commend her for doing the moors, but the judges are just crazy, they take away more than the skill is even worth, I think she should just do the full in in straight position, cause she is so powerful and I think she could do it a little more clean and it'll be a better gamble. Does USAG ever tell you your execution deductions for domestic meets? I felt like the scoring was really inconsistent and that the execution score they gave you for your Cheng made no sense
