Rachel I understand and it’s hard to do it that way if ppl are afraid. I am comfortable straightening and I use the same flat iron as Ebony, along with heat protectants and deep conditioning (and I have color), with no heat damage. It doesn’t work for everyone but it’s a cheaper option for me.

Gayle Friend she didn't take much other the length. The bottom layer only had about 1/2 inches off, but she did some layers in the front when ebony lost about 3-5 inches.

You definitely didn't need a hair trim. The before look, looks better. The after look, looks a little choppy. It's nice to know that short hair ppl are not the only ones who receive shaky hair trims.

Sometimes is really necessary to get the trim to let your hair grow healthier. But only the front cut lot more .face frame look deeper.

@@kenleung7467 A , V.....is straight. It's 2 straight lines that connect at one point. The back of her hair is NOT...2 straight lines that connect.....the back of her hair ITs more choppy than the waves at the beach before a storm. Its terrible

Because Ebony she always wearing but lot at night to preserve her straightening style .those waves came out for bun. Warping your hair will preserve your straightening style longer.

I went to the salon for a trim with already washed and straightened hair but the stylist started spraying water on it and told me she needed to straighten it to get a better trim 🙄. I ended up paying $30 when I only asked for a trim.

I live in Georgia, I go to a mostly white salon, but my stylist is black. The salon I went to before this one I was there for 8 hours, no kidding, 8 hours. I only got a weave, but that was my last trip to that salon. After that salon visit, no more weaves, just naturally me. I only go to the salon now for a trim, 1/4 of an inch off.
