Comedy anime need to step the f%€k up

The comedy genre of anime has been tainted by the trashy god awful Isekai garbage shows and I am sad because of it. I just want some more of my funny comedy shows man.... come on bro. 100%, Comedy is hard to do right/giga subjective, but when it hits, it hiiits. There needs to be more good comedy in general. In anime, while I do enjoy the bulk of isekai schlock and find some of it decently funny, I long for something like Ramen Fighter Miki, or Binbougami-ga!. A straight-up, balls to the wall absurdist anime where it makes the smallest, most inconsequential thing into a huge battle. I miss that first batch Hayate The Combat Butler energy, early-season Osomatsu-san was also genuinely excellent, there's that one of a kind absurdist energy of Detroit Metal City. TL;DR of it all: "Agreed."

This is a problem we had since a long time ago, we're suffering right now because the problem escalated to new heights due to the issues mentioned in the video, also the classification for "Comedy" is abused, if you try to filter for "Comedy" on every site, any series that has at least 4-5 jokes is classified as such, which makes finding actual "Comedy" harder as it gets drowned by any other genre.

The problem is, producers don't invest in things that aren't super popular. Comedy is great, truly, absolutely my love. But you are saying how great a one season series was. Did you buy the DVD, figurines, a bento box, a teeshirt? Guess what, few others did too. They make anime to be the next big thing usually. It is a gamble, and when the odds are low to make it big, they are less likely to give it a green light to animate it. The Fans need to dish the money out, otherwise, nobody is gonna give them the chance to step up.
