Because birth control stops you from having babies. She doesn’t want to have a baby, but she’s buying something with ‘baby’ in the name at the same time. It’s a joke about having “baby crazies” or more accurately mid stage life depression common in women who don’t settle or have kids because of social pressure. So basically she’s depressed and wandering around the store with babies on the brain. It’s pretty perfect for Eleanor. Hahaha

Most of us don't give a f about "societal pressure", it's 21st century Lastly, women have other concerns and issues besides wanting or not wanting to have babies, you idiot. We also can and do have OTHER non-related types of depression like clinical, bipolar, situational, severe crippling suicidal; but go on spread stereotypes and reduce us to walking wombs and hormones. Or you can educate yourself and stop talking on our behalf.
