I was disappointed watching any of his other movies after watching "The Jerk" which was always the kind of humor i was expecting on his other movies ...no match at all ..."The Jerk" was the greatest of all of his movies by far.

This movie is still one of the funniest movies of all time. The part that makes me laugh the loudest is actually when Carl Reiner says that his crossed eyes caused him to yell cut too late on a shot. Then they show the car go off the cliff & he yells "Cut!" while it's in the air.

The Jerk was one of those movies that I started laughing at the opening line, and didn't stop until it was well over. I had to watch it several times to catch things I missed while laughing the previous times. There's probably still more that I missed, but I'm willing to watch it again just to be sure.

I no longer find Steve Martin to be funny, but when he was in his prime I found him to be *very* funny. I don't as hoping they would have the clip where Steve runs the "guess your age" booth at the carnival and someone asks him what they win. He says "anything between here and here" and it gets smaller and smaller until it's down to some plastic toy.
