His mentioning Patrice really hit hard. If you've watched his specials and other stuff, Patrice had a huge influence on him although he hilarious on his own but the connection is there for sure. Patrice was a one in several generation talents, those who saw him while he was alive were very lucky. Even to know him while he was alive was special, especially for me because I grew up in the north west and they just didn't cover and support him but I was able to find him through other comics that i loved. BJO was clearly influenced by him. Wish I could've seen Patrice live.
