I don't understand why Jennifer thought she was the best dancer on the show. It looked like she had to work twice as hard to be half as good.

Believing in herself the way she has is why she is where she is today. Haters are gonna hate. Strong personalities like hers , the idaf about everybody else mentality, seems to always win out in the end, while ppl like you and me just end up talking about ppl like her

So true... the first time I noticed her was in the movie Money Train and even tho it wasnt a huge role, I remember telling my best friend that girl got some star quality about her... she proceeded to tell me that she was one of the FlyGirls & I was shocked bcuz we watched that show religiously... so when I went back to revisit the episodes was when I realized she didn't stand out as much as the others, she was definitely the least best dancer... she didn't leave as much as an impression which is why I didn't recognize her in the movie.

Wow so she wasn't chosen and then next thing you know Keenan gives a call to the producer saying I want her. To me that raises the question what could have happened between those two for him to keep her. It seems like she was getting away with stuff just by being the rookie on the team that means she was getting privileges. We can't deny that all those women were really good dancers but since Jennifer is the most successful of course they're going to talk good about her in more favorable terms because of her society status. To me it goes back to what Jamie Foxx was saying on his special about how Jennifer Lopez really was on a living color. The pieces come together when you think about that.

Maybe it was due to her reps, agents, etc.and that accent, I think, was detrimental to her career. Plus she isn't a singer. I still like ILC, they pushed boundaries and helped a lot of unknowns go onto fame. In some respects ILC had better skits than SNL and drove censors crazy with their topics. I respect JLo for pushing the envelope NOW trying to make a name for herself but sadly, it appears JLO has made a career out of getting men to back her career. She's moved from one high-profile relationship to another (Puffy, ARod, Mark Antony, Ben Afleck)... I have more respect for Rosie because what Rosie has... she fought hard to get. AND US TRUE LATINS ARE & HAVE ALWAYS BEEN MULTI GENETICALLY MIXED ETHNIC PEOPLE DUE TO OUR GENETIC CONTRIBUTORS FROM OUR MIDDLE EASTERN (ASIAN), NORTHERN AFRICAN, AND BALKAN GYPSIE DNA. THERE ARE NO "WHITE" LATINS. JUST MORE ASSIMILATION . SOUTH CENTRAL AMERICANS AND MEXICANS ARE NATIVE AMERICANS, MESTIZOS, CASTIZOS, PARDOS, ZAMBOS, AND PURE SUB SAHARAN AFRICANS. NOT LATINS, NOT LATIN BLOOD, THEREFORE NOT LATINO. IN SOUTH CENTRAL AMERICA AND MÉXICO THE ONLY PEOPLE CALLED LATINO AND HISPANIC ARE US SOUTHERN EUROPEANS OF LATIN MEDITERRANEAN ORIGIN. OBVIOUSLY THE SAME IN LATIN EUROPE. PUSHING AND CONTRIBUTING TO BRAINWASHED NORTH AMERICAN MISAPPROPRIATION OF FOREIGN TERMS SUCH AS LATIN/LATINO AS TRENDING PROPAGANDA FOR SOCIAL STATUS TO APPEAR MORE DESIRABLE DOES NOT JUSTIFY THE CONTINUING CONTRIBUTIONS OF CULTURAL THEFT. THE TERM LATINO DERIVES FROM THE TERM LATINI, THE LATINI WHERE THE VERY FIRST LATIN TRIBE TO EXIST FROM ITALY! LATINI IS PLURAL MEANING MORE THAN ONE LATINO! AND LATINO IS SINGULAR FOR LATINI MEANING ONE LATINO. THE SAME WITH LATINA AND LATINE. ALL TERMS CREATED BY THE TRUE LATIN PEOPLE OF ITALY. PUSHING BRAINWASHED AMERICAN MOSTLY NORTH AMERICAN CULTURAL RAPE AS A FASHION TREND FOR “PROFIT & GAIN” NEEDS TO BE EXPOSED. YOU CAN NOT BE PART OF AN ORIGIN, HISTORY AND ETHNICITY WHICH YOUR ANCESTORS FACTUALLY ARE NOT HISTORICALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR.

Paved the way for "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air?". The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air first episode aired in September of 1990 a few months after LC , and the show was in development since 1989.

I never noticed J Lo on In Living Color. 🤔🥴 The other girls always stood out and could dance their butt off.

Lets be real. Anyone who grew up in the 90s knew exactly JLO was best known only for Selena. Not for being a Fly Girl. No disrespect, but most of those who watched In Living Color didn’t pay any attention to them, sorry! Later on, JLO got more famous for being associated with other mega stars. Her music career… well I’ll just let you guys watch the videos about most of her songs demos’ vocals 😃

Rosie Perez is so f*cking cool. There is no one in Hollywood like her. If I had to choose between hanging out with Rosie or Jennifer for an entire day I would choose Rosie..she just seems intelligent and interesting and fun..Jennifer seems like she would make you stand across the room and slap you if you dare look her in the eye... Recently I have been listening to a book called "be my baby" by Ronnie Spector, Rosie is the narrator and she does such a great job with the material. She has a voice that can convey a lot of emotion..

The pubescent version of me remembers the first time I saw Jennifer Lopez dancing on screen in those in living color days. Homegirl has been living rent free in my head for like 30 years lol

Sounds like she was targeted and she wanted to succeed but the others was jealous of her talent so she was justified in advocating for herself. She realized being nice was not going to get her success considering the treatment she was getting
