The big hurdle with Image books is that the creators have to pay for the collected editions up front. Brubaker and Phillips had talked about reprinting some of the deluxes a few years back and then it didn't happen, there was even an accidental Kill or Be Killed reprint in the Previews catalogue. Kirkman is pushing the compendium format at Image (confirmed by a couple of creators) because it's such a quick turnaround for print time and profit, hence Fatale getting a compendium this fall. It's starting to seem that once the hardcovers go out of print, they're gone, unless they're written by Kirkman or BKV, or if the rights change like Remender's books moving under Giant Generator.

Whoa, that's some great information, thank you for sharing Alwaysaninstigator. Breaks my heart to know how challenging it is for Image creators to put out reprints. Knowing Brubaker, I have a sneaky suspiscion he might follow in the footsteps of Remender, he's got way too many bangers to miss out on the reprint cashflow.

Duggan is my favorite Deadpool writer (along with Kelly and Bunn). Love his 3 runs of DP. I have all the OHCs of Duggan and Posehn's run! A whale of mine is Kelly's DP omnibus---that one is so hard to find at a reasonable price

Guerra was not satisfied at all for paper inside ... he was agree with them on other paper stock ... and when he saw what have they done, he was really pissed off at DC for a long time ... now it will be changed for sure... :) trivia: atmospheric parts of the book is ... living with gipsys in Serbia when he was young in some small neighborhood near Belgrade called Marinkova bara for years before he moves to Barcelona ...

I have the first two volumes of 'Kill or be killed'. I could complete the set but I wont because the ending falls apart. I also have the first volume of the fade out (same reason). Other out of print favs: call of chthulu by boom studios.

I’m surprised that Velvet and JH Williams Batwoman omnibus are already out of print cause I got both of them not too long ago wow I guess I got lucky with those one but man I desperately want a reprint of The Fade Out Deluxe so bad and definitely one for East of West as well come on Image comics reprint these books already come on
