I’m reading a ton of Marvel comics. But the 3 main ones I love to read are ASM, Avengers and Fantastic Four, which I highly recommend. I’ve read a lot of comics you’ve talked about here, and I loved your commentary on it.

Just discovered your channel and instantly had to subscribe! Your in depth looks and respect for the writers and artists is really well done and also I’m biased towards this little era. I worked at a comic store from 2020 to the end 2023 and got to read all of these titles. I’ve always loved comics but my experience there made me fall in love even further with the medium while also hurting my wallet. Regardless I loved this video and will definitely stay tuned to see more!

I just started my marvel journey two months ago, I bought moon knight by jeff lemiere and smallwood and immidiately got hooked I greatly reccomend this run I think you'd love it, then I went ahead and read some earlier MK stories and now Im starting my readthrough of the hickman avengers saga and Ill tell you the artwork is absolutely stunning

The new Ultimate comics got me into buying comics! I'd been aware of Marvel comics for a while, but have been too intimidated to start jumping in, probably due to too many events making you collect SO many issues. But with the Ultimate relaunch I was able to start somewhere, and then I started picking up the X-Men titles as well!

I personally started my route in dc with an issue of Harley Quinn 75, never stopped loving the character from there, but from marvel I fell in love with spiderman (duh) but my favorite is daredevil by far.

There's been a really silly beef between manga and western comic fans lately and as someone who greatly enjoys both, I've been on edge when it comes to content creators cuz this useless beef tends to have people swinging to one side without actual substantial knowledge of the other. I browsed through your channel and I subbed when I saw that you do in fact like all sorts of comics. That's my bad. Keep up the great work!

A lot of Marvel comics can be very approachable, lots of good jumping on points, but Spider-Man is definitely not that. I've been slowly making my way through _all_ of Spider-Man over the past few years (I know I've missed a few things, but I'm trying to hit EVERY title), I'm up to 2006 now, and Spider-Man comics have a habit of totally forgetting about side characters or certain villains for ten or twenty years and them BAM! They're back, and there's no recap on who they are, no reintroduction or anything. You're just expected to know who this obscure character from the 70s was. In 2006, I'm still reading comics published before the existence of fan wikis. If you picked up a comic in 2006 and didn't know who the Looter was when he showed up, you'd have to ask a forum and have people ridicule you for not keeping up with decades of prior material. Some villains, like Zemo, I'm sure kept cropping up in an unabated string across a lot of different heroes' titles (and he was one of the Thunderbolts), but to me from a Spider-Man reading perspective, it's like he appeared once in an annual in the mid 70s, then there was all of this stuff with Vermin in The Child Within referring to Zemo who I had already forgotten, and now he's shown up again in Civil War and I have like a tiny fraction of an idea of who Zemo actually is.
