I have cut my marvel books to less than half. And this is from a guy that bought about 100 books a month. Quality is just not there and a pretty cover cannot cover the stench of the crap inside.

I can’t wait for JLU. I ordered the Jim Lee variant. I love how DC is giving the main covers inside with the variants now. Best of both worlds in my opinion.

Well, since their variants almost always cost an extra dollar, it's the least they can do.

@ I agree. I hardly ever bought variants because I didn’t wanna pay the extra dollar but I don’t mind as much now. I get two covers for the extra dollar now.

I agree, the only downside is DC now don't offer a card stock cover A. Sometimes Cover A is drawn by my favourite artist but they just print on paper stock

I cut my Marvel subscription completely when the first put out Superior Spider-Man. As far as I'm concerned, Marvel Comics has been on life support since the early 2000s and have only held on because of the MCU. But now that the movies and tv shows suck too, I hope we're counting the days til MC goes toes up.

You are right about Marvel. I really am down to one to two Marvel titls a week. I mean it is no surprise, they just don't know how to appeal to the fans and keep trying to cater to fans they THINK they have or are trying to have. At least DC got the memo and gave All In. So far every title I am reading from DC is tons of fun. But, The Energon Universe and Ghost Machine Universe are taking both Marvel and DC to the cleaners.

"WCA" was great back in the day, but with Duggan writing the new book, and Ultron being a member? Nahh... that's not my WCA. I hope I'm wrong, but I think that book is going to be bad. Man, there was a time when all I read was Marvel, and now there's nothing I actually enjoy from them. Times have sure changed, and I never would have guessed that. And even more bizarre for me, I actually enjoy independent books the most right now (Energon, Conan, and Ghost Machine being my current favorites).

The only marvel book that interests me right now is Hulk, but there are so many fill in artists that the book can’t keep momentum. It’s really sad that Marvel is as bad as it is, the industry needs them!
