The Darkstars shown back up in the solo line of Hal Jordan a few years ago during his own renegade arc. The Darkstars use armor instead of rings. Last I knew, they didn't have any real connection to the emotional spectrum. They thought they could protect the galaxy better than the GLC.

Didn’t hall Jorden do this when coast city was destroyed he used his ring to recreate coast city and the guardians tried to suspend him from the core for using the ring for personal gain

I'd say the difference would be because John has ascended and not under the core anymore he is able to. Just my guess

I am so confused. I am not perfectly following the stories but I thought John Stewart no longer needed the Lantern ring and had become much more powerful (an embodiment of the Green Light Power).

@@comicbreakdown Thanks. I hope we'll have some development on that. I personally think Studio Chief Editors should be providing some rules and guidance to writers so we could have consistency for each character and connecting stories.

The inking is pretty bad. I don't like that 'slop' style.. It's similat ot pixelated games. Pixelated isn't art form= it's lazy & cheap. The art isn't the problem..
