I kind of love that there's an alternate Earth "inbetween" the DC and Marvel universes where both DC and Marvel characters coexist. If DC and Marvel could actually get along, there'd be a lot of cool stuff you could do with that.... but I also love the idea that what's beyond the Source Wall is the Marvel multiverse.

At long last, you guys FINALLY covered the Titans/X-Men crossover!! Making jokes and poking fun at a story that's already perfect makes for a great episode. I have the single issue of this, and yes---it's only one issue that's just double the length, not two separate books (and the picture behind Sal and the gang is the wrap around cover). I just asked for it at my local comic shop, and they had it, along with a bunch of the other Marvel/DC crossovers. It's easier to find them in their single issues vs. the collected volumes that Sal's using here.

I have the X-Men/Teen Titans crossover book. It's a single issue comic printed on baxter paper. I got through Evilbay a year or so back and I didn't pay more than $10 for it. So as long as people don't start artificially inflating its value you can get it pretty cheap. It's awesome!

Deathstroke has a healing factor it's just nowhere near Wolverine's also he is not just a guy he was experimented on and enhanced toward the end of his military career and became a super soldier basically he's a one eyed amoral Captain America who was already highly trained before he got upgraded LOL
@cartagia64415 жыл бұрын
So he's Nick Fury
@spike2205 жыл бұрын
Cartagia 64 Only better trained he spent majority of military career when not on missions learning many different styles of fighting as well as becoming a master strategist think of him as the "anti-batman" that is how Marv Wolfman envisioned and set him up as in the early comics in fact Christopher Priest is doing an amazing job in my opinion of showing this and getting to the core of the character in his current run on Deathstroke since the start of Rebirth in fact I highly recommend reading his Batman vs Deathstroke storyline which just came out in hardcover trade last week it has a throwaway premise which it's meant to be to bring them into conflict but that's just so he can write an examination about how similar and different both characters are and how they view each other
@cartagia64415 жыл бұрын
I'm sure you're right. I really don't know much about the DC Universe, but know enough to know Deathstroke is pretty awesome. I was more just joking about the line, "... basically he's a one eyed amoral Captain America who was already highly trained before he got upgraded ", which you gotta admit describes Nick Fury to a 'T'

So now they are responsible for the death of Kypton, Kalaton (From John Stuart and Man Hunter side quest), Tamaran, and a random solar system in the Marvel Universe. Somebody needs to call Hr or the corporate office, cuz these smurfs are extremely ineffectual and we deserve better lol.

The idea on Deathstroke is that he uses 90% of his potential ability instead of the normal 10%. He's not so much super-powered as over-achieving, more akin to Peter Cannon Thunderbolt than Captain America.

@timeguy4415 жыл бұрын
W K Deathstrokes origin is that he joins Vietnam at 16, becomes the best fighter and shooter of his platoon and volunteers for an experiment that would makes soldiers invulnerable to truth serum. as it turns out though it was actually a test for a super soldier serum. The army honorably discharges slade because the serum made him crazy so slade turns to mercenary work.

@self-satisfiedsmirk55445 жыл бұрын
@@wk3820 This isn't an attack against you. But, no... The whole "uses 90%, rather than 10%" is an asinine premise that was brought about by the misguided belief that humans only use ten percent of their brain, which has been disproven repeatedly for at least well over a decade now. While it is true that there are certain things that inhibit the total amount of strength humans can muster, it wouldn't be a matter of simply tweaking a few things to allow a person to access that extra reservoir of strength because doing so could potentially lead s person to injure themselves. Some of these inhibitors are even "mechanical" in the sense that they are other parts of the body that work against whatever actions an individual may be taking to prevent them from using too much strength or applying to much force. Deathstroke *is* an enhanced human, just like Captain America. While exact figures are hard to discern, especially with DC Comics constantly rebooting and ret-conning things, Deathstroke is generally capable of lifting and maneuvering multiple tons with the same type of effort your average, adult, male human would put forth to lift two hundred to four-hundred and fifty pounds (depending upon their overall health and fitness). As for his mental capabilities, he doesn't access ninety percent of his brain. The neural pathways and synapses within his brain have been enhanced to allow it to process information nine times more efficiently than the average human. All humans utilize the entirety of their brain. They just don't use every portion simultaneously or to the same extent.
