Easily my favorite interpretation of Wolverine. The 2000s and 2010s with his tenure in the Avengers turned him into a mindless killer. He has nuance in this story.

Great episode as always. I think the dates mentioned are off a little bit as this mini-series was originally published in 1982. Ronin would begin to be published in the following year but shows as Sal alluded to that Frank Miller had an interest in Japanese culture for some time that also bled into his run on Daredevil that started prior to this mini. Love the show and keep up the great work!

Awesome episode Sal and company! This is one of my favorite Wolverine stories. I mean it was his first solo outing and gave you extra insight into his character plus lots of killing and slashing. Joe Rubinstein pronounces his last name (Rubin-Steen). I know that because I met him back in 2017 and he told me. It was awkward to say the least hahaha. But he did sign all four copies of the Wolverine mini series I brought with me and I purchased a cover recreation he did for issue 1 that is only inked. But it's an awesome piece.
