I've studied sciences for quite some time, and I do allllllways love it when Marvel and when YOU yourself throw in a scientific explanation for the function of powers. It's for that reason that Mutants are my favourite characters, because the idea of the central dogma of genetics resulting in a polymorphism(s) that synthesize proteins with ridiculous effects, it just appeals to me magnificently. Electro is another character with laws of electricity that dictate his power levels and how he is able to release electricity across distances larger than a few inches (although riding lightning is pretty bullshit). However, I doubt that reality manipulation boils down to just atomic transmutation or manipulation. Let's see what you can do with atoms. 1. You can change the fundamental forces that carry them in the universe (ie: gravitons, photons, gluons, bosons, etc...). This will make atoms behave differently than they normally would. However, Graviton, Invisible Woman, Black Bolt, and Radiation Man would already be able to wield those powers (respectively to those particles). You could make the atmosphere of a poisonous planet migrate to Earth for example. Or you could just make people unable to see by deflecting photons outside of the retina. 2. You could BE your own fundamental force and, let's say for example, flip a quark in a neutron to make a proton in an atom. Like in number 1 above, someone who manipulates bosons would be capable of this same effect, but if a character simply exerted energy like a boson did... well.. they'd be stupid powerful. Like Radiation Man with the Power Cosmic or some shit. They could accidentally boil Mars from Earth let's say. This of course is the basis for nuclear chemistry, which is essentially the changing of an atom's identity. 3. Change the shape of electron orbitals. This could be used for a variety of effects. You could change the colour of atoms by altering their crystallography. You could force bonds that normally wouldn't exist, like I dunno, a Xe3Cl15. (This could make like... super poisons, or super metals maybe). You could totally dismantle any physical thing. Even something like lightning, imagine shattering lightning! Obviously, any of these things could outright kill someone. Change the membrane potential of someone's nervous system and they're paralyzed and dead. Transmute a single atom in a single base of the genome and boom, the cell dies and is radioactive. Decrease hemoglobin affinity for oxygen by 10% and the body dies in seconds. Slightly increase blood pressure right near the heart (cardiovasoconstriction) and boom, blood struggles to reach the heart and the heart beat cannot adjust itself accordingly and you die. Slightly switch the genes for dopamine and boom, the person can never become happy (and will also die for a variety of other downstream reasons). But what none of these things do is truly alter reality. I suspect that reality warping has to do with anything OUTSIDE of the scope of what I said. In that vein, it should be nigh impossible for a human to conceptualize exactly what reality warping is capable of. It needs to be MORE than making things behave abnormally. I think it needs to be a new establishment of a new norm for physics. Any change by a reality warper should NOT be observable with any manner of common tool. That said, a reality warper might also be able to do simpler things like I described. But the true reality manipulation should be something entirely independent of natural law. It should be new natural order and law altogether.

Great video Rob, but I think reality manipulation is not limited to atoms, instead it's more like manipulating the entire Standard Model, the Four Fundamental Forces, Dark Matter and Dark Energy. Especially for someone like Franklin Richards who can create entire universes, you need at least the entire set to make a functioning universe like ours.

The three Powers I would want: Damage Reflection (So, basically if someone damages you in ANY WAY, your body instantly reflects it back onto the attacker.)&, Reality warping (The act of rearranging matter into something else.) AND Pocket dimensions (Mini/Big areas/dimensions you can access any time.) These are possibly the best powers you would ever want, since these make you literally Omnipotent, and at the very least Nigh-omnipotent. The people that I know most have these powers are: SCP 073/ Cain, SCP 3812 and SCP 106. In the SCP lore, SCP 073 is A Arabic decent God, SCP 106 is A once to be solider, that accessed A pocket dimension, as it consumed him. And SCP 3812 use to be A African American man that passed, and A shadow-like being, it is extremely schizophrenic and mentally ill, and extremely omnipotent. and exist on A outerversal scale, transcending through the SCP lore, breaking the 4TH wall. SCP 3812 is arguably the most powerful fictional character. Like I said before, these powers are extremely broken, especially Damage Reflection. I mean, think about it. Not being able to be hurt in ANYWAY WHATSOEVER at all, and when someone tries to do so, gets hurt. That would be A God tier power, especially the one Bible Cain has, considering when Bible Cain reflects the damage, making it 10 X MORE EFFECTIVE. So let's say someone blast him with A beam of light, he doesn't have to do ANYTHING, and it just makes it 10 X more painful. SCP 3812's Mentifery is extremely strong too, due to his schizophrenia, SCP 3812 Will have hallucinations, as his hallucinations come to Life. so, Mentifery seems to be the strongest form of a Reality warping. *God this comment is longer than I expected.*

Again you are WRONG. Reality warping isn't manipulation at atomic level. Manipulation at atomic level is called matter manipulation or matter/energy transmutation and a lot of characters can do that like Silver Surfer for example. Reality warping in the other hand, is, in the addition of matter/energy transmutation, the ability to manipulate CONCEPTS, in other words Reality warping is the ability to manipulate abstract concepts like death, life, emotions, order, chaos, ...etc. If Reality warping was just atomic manipulation, then abstract entities like Death, Eternity, Master Order, Lord Chaos, Love, Hate...etc will be invincible, because they exist as concepts in reality they don't have physical bodies that can be killed. Hope this explains what's Reality warping, and hope you will correct your notion about it in the next videos.

I recently thought of an idea. If I had reality-warping powers, I would erase the Crood characters except Ugga, the Disney dinosaur movie, and erase the movie Encanto from existence but I would use the three sisters from Encanto and make them cave girls and make a new movie called Disney Pixar cave people. I would combine the animations of the Disney dinosaur, the Croods, and Encanto. It would have the locations from Disney Dinosaur and the Croods in it and it would be 3 hours and 15 minutes long and make it a musical. It would even have action and adventure in it too. It would have the same type of dinosaurs from Disney dinosaur that can talk in it and the creatures from the croods. Also In this movie, cave people can talk to the plant-eating dinosaurs and they jump high and climb trees like the lemurs in Disney dinosaur. There would be more Dinosaurs and more locations in this movie. The character Aladar would still exist but he wouldn’t be the main character in the movie. The main characters are cave people who live on an island that looks similar to Lemur island from Disney dinosaur only bigger. There is a mother and a father who have three daughters who look exactly like the daughters from Encanto except for the cavewoman who looks like Mirabel doesn’t have glasses and she has a daughter of her own who looks like a female version of Disney's Tarzan when he was a child. She would also have two younger sisters who strongly resemble Luisa and Isabela. The cavewoman who strongly resembles Luisa is the youngest of the three and is very strong and tall. Ugga from the Croods would be the mother of those three cave girls. The movie would be about cave people who are trying to find a new home after their old one is destroyed by a deadly meteor shower. They will have to travel far and face many dangers that lie ahead of them. For example, Carnotaurs, T-rexes, raptors, water meat-eater dinosaurs, raptors, and spinosaurus. Anshuman Jain this is how I would explain it.. His punch had so much force to it, that it defied the laws of physics thus defying reality... it's like when flash ran from the edge of the universe to earth faster than Instant teleportation. He broke speed, the velocity at which he was traveling is no longer considered a "speed". There's no word to describe it considering that it's faster than the smallest unit of time in our universe, which is a plank Instant.

Hey, Rob I was wondering if you could do a video on Pre-New 52 Wally West vs. Barry Allen. I ask because we all know that during his 20 year tenure as the Flash following Crisis on Infinite Earths, Wally West achieved feats of speed that Barry couldn't dream of such as running the Black Flash to the End of Time, travel through time, creating clothes made of pure speed, and even reached nirvana with the Speed Force at one point though he gave it up to be with Linda Park and that's just during the Pre-New 52 era. After returning from the Speed Force in DC Rebirth #1, Wally was able to return the Titans' memories, stop explosions, and it was stated in Titans Rebirth #3 that Wally may have become even more powerful during his time in trapped in the Speed Force during the New 52 era. Moving on to Barry Allen, while he is fast, definitely faster than Quicksilver, Barry can't do the things that Wally can do especially since the New 52 reset his power set not to mention Wally can steal the kinetic energy from things including energy. The bottom line is that I'd like to see a video in which you discuss who's stronger Wally or Barry.

Love the Video Great job, but I thought Mathew Molly was unable to bring people back from the dead. When Shield blew up the mountain Mathew, Scott, and Magik was on, Mathew was unable to bring Scott and Magik back from the dead. Also, Mathew, when teleporting to the Mutant Mansion, killed Storm and then Stated that he was unable to bring her back. I personally think Franklin Richards should be higher on this list of Reality Warps for the simple fact that at the end of the events of Secret Wars Franklin Richards, as a child, was elevated to the position of the One Above All/The Creator of the Multiverse.

Jamie Braddock is a multiversal threat, it has been stated numerous times by Roma and Merlyn. He was even immune to HoM Wanda's chaos magic and was doing reality warping in the WHR (an impossible feat) while MJJ had to hide from the chaos magic within the M'kraan Crystal. Proteus was an Alpha level mutant. Planetary at best, being a reality warper doesnt necessary make one Omega level or the most powerful. Its about how much energy ur body and mind is able to host. Also as a Marvel explanation for reality warping, it should be anything OTHER than what the other 5 Infinity stones should be capable of. Space: Responsible for the laws and mechanics surrounding what makes two objects distinct from one another in axial and planar position. Time: Responsible for the laws and mechanics surrounding what makes two objects distinct from one another in chronological and temporal position. (Basically the only other component besides Space in our reality that keeps two objects from being the same object). Power: Responsible for the laws and mechanics surrounding how one physical/chemical/energetic effect may supercede another. Meaning, why does 2 Newtons of Force in one direction beat 1 Newton of Force in another direction? Soul: Responsible for the laws and mechanics surrounding individuality. I normally consider this as the descriptive cohabitation of a person's mental and physical existence (with regard to Plato's mind-body dualism concepts). The Soul stone deals with the physical person. Kind of like if there were a blueprint of all the possibilities across the multiverse of a person's life story, the Soul stone is responsible for choosing which blueprint path belongs to this physical person. Mind: Responsible for the laws and mechanics surrounding individuality. Like the Soul stone, it deals with a person's mental and physical existence, but of course, the mind stone does only the mental part, while the Soul stone does the physical part. Again, imagine the aforementioned blueprint of all possibilities, the mind stone will deal with the life story of their thoughts, goals, ambitions, dreams, demons, etc.... Reality: Responsible for the laws and mechanics that the other 5 stones get to work within. The reality stone is basically the Constitution of what the stones can and cannot do. The Mind Stone functions in a specific way to uphold the mental existence, while the Soul stone works in tandem for the physical, and the Reality stone in turn keeps that relationship functional and translates it to the real universe. To bend reality, is to bend the aspects of the universe and the relationships that define it. This would be like, adding dimensions or adjusting strings (for string theory), making Time operate out of sync with Space (kind of like Ghost's quantum phasing but on more LSD), shit like that.

could you say that theoretically, franklin gets weaker as he grows up? We have seen that Mr Fantastic made a group of kids to use their minds since they are not limited to the outside world. What if franklin is the same? While he may gain more control of his powers, as he matures, he loses that great imagination, and as such becomes weaker?

Can I just point out that post-Secret Wars Franklin Richards IS the most powerful being in the entire mutliverse. Along with Owen Reed's aid and link, he is literally creating all of the various realities. Owen Reese is effectively a battery for each universe. "The One Above All" isn't really a character. Originally it was a reference to Jack Kirby himself. Now its pretty much a stand in for the writer of a comic book talking directly to the character him/herself.

No offense Rob but I don't think there is enough evidence to firmly put Matthew Malloy above Franklin. I mean is there anything that Matthew did that we can say Franklin couldn't do if he wanted? Even if you want to say Franklin is only on the level of a Celestial, if Matthew is getting destroyed Shield Heli-Carriers (regardless of whether he resurrected himself) I think he gets curb stomped by a Celestial and by association, Franklin. Even is Marvel were actively trying to end the X-men series, I don't think they would create a character as wildly powerful as we believe Matthew to be just to kill him off with a Dues Ex Machina and then never bring him back (which it seems like he wont be). I believe, from what we have been shown, Matthew Malloy at his absolute peak is on par with an adult Franklin RIchards but definetly not above him. If anything it's probably Franklin who is above Matthew considering we still don't know the full scope of his powers.
