I love the Punisher. A lot of the other comic book character are a bit cheesy, too colorful, sometimes almost perfect. Not a bad thing, just done a lot. The punishers dark style is a good change of paste.

Rob I love your content. A great classic DC story you can do is with The New Teen Titans "The terror of Triton" Arc from the 80's. It's amazing. The Teen Titans show season 4 finale actually took a good amount of inspiration from it.

I've always loved The Punisher. No super powers, just guns, combat training, intelligence & insane bravery. All this combined with a need for revenge & an ambiguous moral code. He does the things the police can't do & you get a sense that most of the good cops are silently rooting for him and only trying to arrest him half- heartedly. My favorite thing about him is how he always takes the criminal's money to help fund his war, bringing him back down to the level of a real person.
