Can you upload the other episodes, I see the teasers but not the actual videos.

He wants us to but the episodes. Yeah I definitely don't have the money to buy his other episodes because I am a beginner and am saving money so that I can survive. Even 10 dollars could be spent on 2-3 meals.

Ah, yes, coffee! The most important tool for getting any work done. Of course, I may be biased. I used to work a lot of night shifts, so I associate "work" with "drink an entire pot of coffee on your own over the next 12 hours".

Nice work! I'm working on a part 2 of my first comic series, and I'm kind of considering going traditional for the pen work. I did all the pens digitally the first time around, and I don't want to be sitting down in front of a computer for most of the work this coming comic. I also love coffee but I get anxious from too much of it. >___

what paper do you recommend for comic drawing ?
@comicsforbeginners3 жыл бұрын
It's a matter of personal preference, but for me it's important that A) It's not too shabby in quality and B) It's not too expensive, as that will make me freeze up and be afraid to ruin the board. Finding that sweet spot took some time for me. You just gotta try stuff out and see what you like working with :-) Some links and concrete tips can be found here: comicsforbeginners.com/free-online-tools-for-comic-creators/

@@comicsforbeginners thanks i pretty much agree. I am currently studying to be a graphic designer and illustrator and have practiced comic drawing to some extent. I am going to continue training and I am looking for new paper because I did not like to draw with the previous paper so that is why I am looking for new paper.

+Palle Schmidt (ComicsForBeginners) Who makes the acrylic markers, and where can I get them? Also, what ruler do you use to do boarders? Thanks.
@comicsforbeginners9 жыл бұрын
+Marc Baker There is a link in the resource section at the site. You can them on Amazon. I use a transparent ruler with a printed grid on. It's really old, don't remember where I got it, and those things are often pricey. But a good investment.
@Launchpad059 жыл бұрын
+Palle Schmidt (ComicsForBeginners) Are there any clear rulers with a raised edge built into them? I can never seem to find one. I know there are triangles with raised inking edges, but no straight rulers with a numbered grid.

i dont know how to start draw characters for comics
@paullavoie55427 жыл бұрын
Palle Schimdt, I just started writing my story for the comic that i've been working on and was wondering what type of paper should I use? I've botten printer paper 8 1/2 inch by 11 inches would that be fine or should I invest in something else?
@PalleSchmidt17 жыл бұрын
As I say in the video, you really just have to find whatever works for you. I'm not super knowledgeable on the inches aspect as we use the metric system where I am :-) I'm sure you'll be fine!
