The words says make a joy for noise. The heart of the music must always be rooted in Christ. That doesn't mean that every word and verse must be Jesus based. We must be careful about what's driving our heart because believers/babes in Christ and non believers are watching. What you put into the world with the art ultimately is planting seeds to the next generation. I like Andy's music but he's made a few statements in the past that are not in line with biblical teaching and those are the things that those in the faith will always take issue with.
