Muddle the mixtures is one of the best tutors. Gilded Drake, Mana Drain, Cyclonic Rift, Dranith Magistrate, Isochrone Scepter, Dramatic Reversal, Final Fortune. The list of 2 drops it can transmute for is almost endless in cEDH. Doubling as interaction is always great too.

It would've been risky, but Cam should've replayed Bob at the end as it could have gotten him cards in hand (potentially even that C-Rift)

9:24 This is incorrect. You do still go through their steps and phases, passing priority as normal. So he could have indeed activated Thrassios during the end step after the loss trigger resolves.

Tyler conceded, not losing from Final Fortune trigger.

"Minor" nitpick on the game. When Obeka died to the final fortune trigger, there is a window in the end step after that player died where thrasios can be activated. CR 800.4a and 513.1. priority would go back to the active player in the end step after the fortune trigger has resolved but since he has left the game priority will go to thrasios. Other then that and the Jeska stuff it was a great game :D
@chronics234 жыл бұрын
That has to be the most I've ever seen a commander attack in cedh
@DJVU124 жыл бұрын
Ok so @9:14 Tyler loses the game on his end step trigger. Combine rules 500.2 about ending the phase/step as well as 117.3b about active player receiving priority when an ability resolves and 800.4i saying when a player leaves on their own turn the turn continues to completion with priority passing normally. Tyler loses to his trigger resolving, priority would then pass to dead Tyler but instead goes to Nate because of 800.4i. Stack is empty and Nate has priority to go to dead Tyler's cleanup. Nate may activate his ability w.o Notion Thief witnessing the draw. Game continues normally in the end phase passing over Tyler's normal Active Player priority.

At around 9:20 Nate should have been able to draw 800.4i: If a player leaves the game during their turn, that turn continues to its completion without an active player. If the active player would receive priority, instead the next player in turn order receives priority, or the top object on the stack resolves, or the phase or step ends, whichever is appropriate. This along with steps and phases only changing when all players have passed priority on an empty stack means that Nate would get priority again after Tyler lost the game.
