Watching Krenko Mob Boss work that way was a learning experience for me. I run Krenko Mob Boss as my commander in my commander deck. I didn't realize I could tap him at the end step of my opponents turn then untap him on my untap phase. Then add more goblins to my battlefield, then tap Krenko Mob for more goblin tokens. Thank you for that learning experience guys

I'm having terrible ptsd flashbacks b/c of the travesty that occurred in this episode. One of my first edh games was won by a guy with a Krenko deck who killed everyone on turn 5.

There's just one slight difference to Krenko and Atraxa/Meren. They aren't mono colour. Mono red is the weakest ramp wise, and the second worst card draw wise. Once a krenko deck has no board state, it's very weak to Blue control or Green fatties.

Or you could just play any removal spell and slow them down dramatically, which no one in this game had any to speak of. Of you could play a board wipe before turn 8, or a whole host of other things other than hating out the guy playing the commander. They aren’t so powerful that they need to be killed off. This game is NOT representative of a typical Krenko game.

My LGS has a whole group of people who play 2-Block Commander, you pick any general from any set... then build around any 2 blocks you choose. It's such a clean format. You have to really be creative with deck tech and card selection. It is easily may favourite commander format. Fewer infinite combos, fewer similarities between decks, just really interesting fun games.

It's a shame we didn't really get to see any spicy tech from the other decks. Krenko is simply really powerful for such a linear commander when disruption isn't readily available.

My Commander group and I tried out a new mulligan rule yesterday. We usually play with an initial partial mulligan, but yesterday we decided to instead do a scry 7, before drawing cards. This way it basically gives you a partial mulligan, but you don't have to shuffle your deck, unless you're mulliganing down to 6. Everyone loved it.

+Bohdan Yarema Wrong. I don't actually care. It's a still bad idea. If you want more consistent Commander decks, then play more functional copies and tutors. "Fake drawing" 7 cards so you can pick and choose which in that 7 you want to keep and redraw the rest is just idiotic. If it works for him, great. I would never play with a group like that though.

a very well built krenko deck is very hard to beat. i have a krenko goblin tribal deck and i never have a game last longer than turn 6, quickest win i've had was turn 3

All of these decks looked fun, and..have they played an actual sliver tribal deck in the 4-player version of commander yet? I know they used to get that request all the time (enough for that '4 sliver commanders, no slivers in any deck video to be a thing) but hey, good on Justin for putting together a much requested deck. That said, like in most of these stipulation drafts, one deck ends up massively out-shining the others in terms of just sheer power. Krenko is busted in anything but Spike Commander style games (and maybe under powered there no idea) But yah. It certainly feels like the kind of Commander that you get to play once, and then either your group asked you/bans you from playing again, or gangs up on you and knocks you out at minute 20 of the 45 minute commander game they go on to play the rest of without you. Good content all the same. I love the stipulation/twists on commander and this one is especially good.

So...Krenko...piloted by Jon...in a video barely breaking the hour mark....i think it's clear who wins...that's why we always focus the nasty goblin player in our group (only two of them...one playing Daretti with quite mean spells like Mindslaver,Jokulhaups/Darksteel Forge/Mycosynth Lattice and the other being Mizzix).
