You are throwing the fish quite hard into and out of the totes, doesn’t this cause skin damage and bruising, question from a chefs perspective?

Do agree. Love watching smash and few others but being a course fisherman a little respect or put them out their misery first as last. Understand not so easy with Mackrell as the come thick and fast but throw them In a bucket atleast

I agree very heavy handed with high value fish. Reds are very delicate fish and damage very easily. Taking ice to sea and slushing would really help. And any fisherman in the west country would never really shoot red mullet nets over night. Shooting in the dark before sunrise for a 3 hour soak is considered by us and IFCA as good practice. Quality of fish is good and unwanted small fish bycatch is reduced. Yes you didn't have any there but you were on sand. On or near hard ground would be a nightmare.

This netting seems immoral Especially the amount of times you do it I used to enjoy watching this channel when you done it for fun and sport catching fish means you can be selective with your catch this netting takes the fun out of it for profits I don’t think that’s what you should promote get back on the rods lad ! Iv always done what I love doing, some hated the foraging when I starting filming it , some hate catch n cooks , some hate rod fishing , truth is I can’t please everyone so I do what I love an film it haha As anyone can see you don’t get rich netting , a lot of work for nothing sometimes as fish can see the nets so only do well in murky water but now an then we have a nice hit of fish , I do it because I enjoy it , not for money as KZbin is my income 👍 little fish hear an there just pays my feul an fishing expenses 😂
