Tae is the reason Kotaro revived all the other girls! Think about it. Tae she was mentally challenged when she was alive and could never fit in the way she was ( how she acts now ) Maybe she got killed because of her disability ( walking into traffic, eating unsafe food or someone trying to defend himself from her) Kotaro ( maybe her brother ) realised she could have never lead a happy life, so he created circumstances that would explain her behavior, normalise it and give her a second shot at life without the risk of her dying. He wanted to create a place and a group of people for tae to belong to, just once in her life. ( Or not life ) That's why he dodges questions about her background and makes up reasons when asked why it had to be an idol group.
