Common 17-19

Most Common 17-19 #powerstroke Coolant leak! Can we fix it! @DormanProducts produced a nice product to replace the plastic Tee's that always leak or break at the most inconvenient time.
I do have a couple small problems with it but overall it's a good replacement, once they resolve the 2 small issues I would 100% recommend it. Currently I would only recommend this hose if the dealership didn't have one in stock or it's a weekend and you need the truck Monday morning.
Dorman did send this hose to me for testing and evaluation. I have reported back to them the 2 small changes that need to be made. Again thank you Bill for sending this and wanting to make y'all's products better! I'm really hoping you can get those 2 changes made in this product.

They are a crap design and I think this hose fixes most of the problems. Just hope they will take our recommendation and fix the couple done falls to the hose and fix them. I'm mostly concerned about the EGR valve connection.

Nice review Cody. It reminds me of the rear coolant lines for town and country that dorman makes, better than the factory plastic ones that break at the “y” .

It was almost a perfect fit. They really just needed a smaller hose to the EGR coolant tube to be perfect. The bends were on point with the stock hose. I can get over the clips but that hose left me worrying

I may be wrong but I believe I remember seeing late 6.7s with constant tension spring clamps from the factory. Very similar to this setup.

Ive only seen the nasty clamps that are used on the old hose.

@@CPsGarage I was looking at some under hood pictures from a few 2023s and they did have constant tension spring clamps over the one ear clamps we are used to seeing.

First, let me say the thumbnail photo is bad ass….second…I’d buy this if Dorman made some improvements to this design and provided new hardware. I think if Dorman is charging close to OEM price for this replacement, you need to be better than what is offered here. Just my 2 cents.
