I conclude that you are 100% right in my case. I am like that. Now, to summarize your video; (1) Scan the people. See to what kind of people you are going to speak up. (2) Don't interfere Don't interfere when two persons are talking. Let them finish and when you are asked, you can speak up. (3) Think before you speak See the people and topic about which the discussion is going on and when you are asked, respond accordingly and stick to the topic. (4) Sometimes it's not your fault (optional) Sometimes, some people are born negative. They have to see negativity in everything. In this case, say goodbye to them.

*It’s easy to forget that more than 90% of the communication is done nonverbally. People will tell us this and that and then we get confused when their actions don’t match up, are not congruent with their words. I learned it the hard way that we have to observe what people say, not what they do.*

I struggle so much with being misunderstood. Its very difficult. I feel Im being direct and I still get misinterpreted. I'm Independent. Im not a democrat. Im not a republican. Im not blue. Im not red. I just want to be farther ahead in my life and career. I have no dating life because I need to get my life and career better and I dont think its fair to bring a woman into this situation. I want to be better for any woman I date.

Try and put across your ideas into small pieces, as sometimes longer concepts are difficult to understand and digest.

This ignores a critical element of being misunderstood that no one talks about. The issue people with lots of high functioning disabilities end up with among other reasons. The above referenced issue I alluded is best exemplified from disabilities like ADHD and Aspergers. I am talking about the idea of processing information differently resulting in being misunderstood.

Few years ago, i uploaded a status : "i dont sell anything.calm down, i hate fake friends too". Only one friend understood it ,only because he clarified that with me. Prior to that status, I messaged a few ex colleagues. The conversation felt awkward because they thought I called them just because I am selling them a product (fake friends do this kind of thing). Soon after, I uploaded the status. Didnt expect it to be the most misunderstood socmed status of my life. Since that status, I felt like my entrepeneur friends, old school fiends , ex colleagues 'persecuted' me.

Follow the guidelines from this video. First scan the people and keep their mindset in your mind. Then, wait until they are finished and then if you get a chance speak up. But speak according or close to the topic of discussion. And if after all of that, they perceive you negative, realize that they are negative and it's not your fault. With little practice, you will overcome it. I am always misunderstood.

Dealing with negative is a completely different issue. Sometime it better to simply ignore them, instead of breaking your own head and energy.
