im unsure if this is what’s being portrayed exactly, but i guess i really saw myself in this video in particular. sometimes it feels like there are multiple versions of me in my head with different goals, values, even writing and thought patterns, and we all talk to each other as individuals, like we’re all fragments of myself. despite being so different, we’re all me, i guess? it gets really overwhelming a lot of the time and the part where they all dived down into her head felt really familiar in feeling. just this video as a whole captured how it feels a lot of the time. not sure if that was the intention but it was really cool to see myself (us?) in this video!

i haven’t been diagnosed with anything, but i am talking to a therapist about it all and i’ve suspected a form of DID in the past. no clue though, and i don’t want to go around saying i have a disorder that i’ve not been diagnosed with so i’ll say that no, i have not been diagnosed with anything (though may in the future)

Same here but it comes in the form of me making sonas, I’ve made so many that they’re just fragments of me and my experiences, and they’re how I’ve dealt with huge changes in my life. It’s kinda different from making an actual sona though, and it’s more like looking into a mirror and seeing the changes you’ve gone through or taking a picture of the times you get a new haircut. Like a scrapbook or a documentation of my life ig

I think it’s so interesting how much your characters engage with personas and the abstraction of the self, including dissecting the persona created from the character made to represent what actually lies behind the persona as being made of yet the same material as the cat and only another pushback from the person holding the pen.
