I feel like this could have been one of the best episodes ever and solved a lot of myths people need to learn about, but talking over the guest and not allowing him to answer a question was getting tough to listen to.
@jjmah710 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it seems like they do that when they're buddies with the guest. The best episode I've seen is the Christopher Sommer episode about gymnastics training...you could tell he wasn't there to be their friend, he was there to educate the listeners.

Agreed. There are so many gold nuggets in this podcast that it was frustrating to hear the interruptions. I've used creatine before but I've never heard about it like this until this podcast. And the same thing with the lactic acid. They should redo this podcast or Dr. Andy Galpin should actually write a book on the myths.
@viktorkozlov78277 жыл бұрын
I turned this off at the 16:00 minute mark Every time Dr. Galpin started getting into a groove and giving out excellent information the other guys interrupted talked over him about nothing but nonsense. I'll listen to Dr Galpin on other media.

Fantastic information! Very informative and easily explained. Thank you! But PLEASE really consider not interrupting the speaker when he is clearly trying to explain something... more than a hand full of times i found my self asking "where was he going with that?" "what was the example he was going to give for that topic" "what was he going to say??!!". No hate to any of you but PLEASE consider this.

can you interview andy again? i feel there is a lot that can be discussed, also like how acid buffering works to increase performance in short bouts, and why creatine does and if how it is different to sodium that can do it as well?

He needs to come back to the show. Good info.

I had to stop listening to this podcast half way through. I really like the interviews you guys do, but Chris' interruptions were so frequent I found myself getting frustrated and lost enjoyment. Doug said it best talking about Any trying to answer a question @35:43"We are going to get this outta him!". Chris, not trying to kick you out, but maybe hold back on the coffee beforehand, or keep a notepad a jot down some points to write up in the blog with the posting of the episode afterwards.

So I took some creatine monohydrate for the first time yesterday, drank a good deal of water and such.. Then I felt a little sick but I trained anyway then after training I had a low grade fever and a head ache. I'm not sure if it's the creatine or if I caught some kind illness. Any thoughts on that?

I read a study where creatine increased testosterone by 20-50% dependent on dose. It is known that high testosterone levels (produced naturally) cause baldness. but don't take my word for it, all studies are published online and accessed via the GOOGLE.

Christ is the best part of the podcast. He is an open minded powerlifter which is extreamly rare and gives the show an uneak outlook. He also gives the podcast credability being that he has sq over 1000# and i dont know if i would of givin the podcast a chance if it was only skinny CFers.Their doing an entertament show on fitness, do your own reserch lazy bitches, their only give you the tip of the iceberg to open your mind to knew ideas an opinons.
