hi guys the scene where the Deku Tree speaks ends with the phrase "... you have no recollection of me, however" and the very next phrase that starts with "i think you are now ready..." is the King of Hyrule or some other old man. i've head this scene in all four languages that are out there and it allways sounds like 2 different persons

the guardians are such good design in enemies, as a consumer and artist. it's so cool that they're the first enemy we saw, one of the most ominous, and the most preliminary or basic enemy at the same time. like yes all they do is run and shoot but they play such an important role. their quantity doesn't limit their value

I have the same fear that whatever comes next won't be able to live up to Breath of the Wild's reputation Come to think of it I'm a little worried that BotW will turn into something like No Man's Sky where it was overhyped and then fell flat when the game was released. HerroShad3 I think Nintendo will figure it out. They aren't like Infinity Ward or EA where they are eager to get their next new game out by a certain deadline. They actually spend years and years of research to dig deep within their past games and see what they can do differently in a way that will still be fresh and entertaining to the public. This is what Nintendo is known for so I personally think their positive and worthy creativity will prevail.

I remember when I was fearful of this game breaking away from the amazing story and soundtrack aspects of the series. Never have I been more wrong in my life. The story's premise is amazing, and the soundtrack is godly. I truly believe this will be the best Zelda game yet. It contains all the best aspects of each game and combines them to create perfection. For next episode, please do races and factions.

If some of the Sheikah defected, I think it would be quite interesting to have Impa be one of Ganon's top Lieutenants or Generals directly opposing Link and Zelda this time around.

I really really really want the past story line to be the second world you explore in this game! That would, in my opinion, recreate the feeling of the first Zelda game where once you beat the game, you realized that you had a whole second quest to complete. Even if the game isn't even quite as big as Skyrim, It would feel all the bigger and more adventurous if they did that. I think at first, you will come across things in the desolate Hyrule you wake up in that will trigger Link's memories, and you'll play a bite sized flashback of Links memories from 100 years ago. Eventually, you'll gain the ability to travel back to that time period as much as you want and explore the Hyrule that was prosperous.

While I have little nitpicks (the voice saying Link was ready to hear what happened 100 years ago is not the same voice as the one given to the Deku Tree - it's likely the King of Hyrule's voice), I pretty much agree with the majority of everything here, and had even figured a lot of it out myself; mostly the stuff dealing with Zelda and Link journeying together (in the past) so she could awaken Hylia's power, and how Link likely got mortally wounded or killed 100 years ago. Have always thought this was a new Link as well. Also figured Zelda was in stasis as well (since back at E3 really), and I still think she is one of the reasons Ganon hasn't broken out of his containment yet, along with those 4 pillars around the castle. She's been using her goddess powers of light to keep him in the seal, just like she did in Skyward Sword, only here's the difference: in Skyward Sword, Zelda slept in stasis for 1000 years to contain Demise and the seal on him. This Zelda could only manage 100 years. Why? Because Demise didn't have the full Triforce. Calamity Ganon, however, does. That's why Link and Zelda failed the first time they tried to destroy him. That's why Zelda could only hold him 100 years instead of 1000 years like her Skyward Sword counterpart did with Demise. I've also been saying this game takes place in the Downfall Timeline since E3 as well - after OOT but before ALttP. The reason we don't see all this advance Sheikah tech in ALttP is BECAUSE Calamity Ganon corrupted it. It's flawed, so after this game it's gotten rid of. And as we know, in the Downfall Timeline, it starts when the Hero of Time fails and Ganon gets the full Triforce. Have you notice the game hasn't mentioned the Triforce ONCE? No one at Nintendo have mentioned it either. Link dosen't have any parts of it, or we would have seen the mark on his hand. (In contrast, we saw the Triforce mark on his hand at the very start of Twilight Princess). Zelda doesn't appear to have any parts of it either. If this backstory stuff is correct, I won't mind having watch this too much. As I said, there a lot of points I figured out myself a few days go. And we don't know how the game actually ends. This is all backstory stuff really and, if all true, then it's a cool setup, and builds more lore for the series, but it's not the climax of the story, or the finale of it. We still get to discover that.

The Deku Tree does say "That look on your face tells me that you have no recollection of me", but it seems that Nintendo is trying to missguide us here, since his voice subtly changes when saying "However, I think you are now ready[...]". That second voice sounds a lot more like the king's voice when he says "you must save her... My daughter", at around 3:07 on the Nintendo's channel trailler. What do you guys think about it?

Yeah, that was the most misleading part of the trailer. I was always confused by why his tone suddenly changed. A lot of people still believe that's the same voice speaking. It's most likely the King of Hyrule as it's a closer match to the voice at the end of the trailer when he says "my daughter, you must save her."

Sam Adams I watched a video earlier of the voice acting from the latest trailer in all languages, compiled from the different Nintendo youtube accounts. I'm almost positive it's the same voice actor for both clips in all of them. For some reason, in the English version, he sounds different between the two lines.

On the map it's not Link but Ganondorf.The character has red hair morover Ganon and Ganondorf must have worked together. I guess Ganon was not able to come back in his form and probably choose Ganondorf because they probably shared the same ideas and for his human form. In Oot when you defeat Ganondorf, Zelda tell you that "with his last breath" he try to detsroy the castle. Then Ganon appear cause one can't leave without the other. If Ganondorf die then Ganon die too. So in this game we will maybe see how they entered into a pact before the war.

I think the Sheika were in trouble for creating the Devine beasts and the guardians in secret. Imagine how pissed the people would be if a group of people (who were supposed to be good) created war machines in secret? War machines that ended up being used against the people, even if that wasn't the intended purpose of the Sheika plan. I don't think the royal family or the people of hyrule would have banished the Sheika if they had known of the war machines before they were brought out to fight Ganon.

Ganondorf is a big buff guy that often has long orange hair and a beard, not Link. Even if it wad depicting a very mature Link for some reason, why would he have orange hair?

I think there's wayy more to the story than we think. Like what if you've just done half of the story after freeing the four beasts? Like in OoT where the real adventure just starts after the 7 year gap. Maybe if the old man IS old Ganondorf without the evilness, then maybe after you 'defeat' calamity Ganon, it'll go back to Old Ganondorf and then make him evil again... I really hope there's a bit more story than just "free the four beasts from the evil" ^^

You never know, with the horse taming mechanic being a core method of travel its possible to find a new Epona. In the Treehouse presentation, there was a guy asking link to capture a white horse which he believed was a surviving member of the Royal Family's Horse Line. The same could be said for Epona and perhaps late in the game you could come across one of her descendants. Why? Because magic.
