I couldn't bear to kill alfira in my durge run, I knew something was fishy when she was supposedly recruitable lol. I googled it, figured out i can sneakily throw a sleep potion at alfira the day before and non-lethally knock her out before that event triggers. A dragonborn bard lady shows up instead. That's how I learned dragonborn throat-singing is a thing lmao. I felt bad killing her, she was sweet too.

This was one of my biggest problems with the game. In mine I failed at convincing the group that it wasn't me. Badly. I think it was a nat 1. They took turns admonishing me, then said they'd keep an eye on me. Then I went to go talk to shadowheart who admonished me again, then in the next sentence said she liked me, and it was never brought up again. That's fuckin' weird.

There are some weird interactions in the game if you do stuff you weren't probably supposed to do, like straight admitting / failing to hide your murder. Another one for me was saving Wylls father, despite making the deal that would cause him to die, which gave me the ending where Wyll is free, but the camp dialogue suggested the opposite, clearly because while it was possible to save him still, you weren't meant to do it.
