FIVE STAGE WATER FILTRATION:
Unlike many water filters & pitchers, ZeroWater filters use 5 stages of filtration, to bring you cleaner, better tasting water. Instead of carbon filtering only, our filters use Ion Exchange Technology to reduce contaminants.
NOT AN ORDINARY WATER FILTER:
ZeroWater filters filter water in 5 stages, are NSF certified to reduce lead and other heavy metals. Zerowater removes 99.6% of total dissolved solids, 2X more than the leading brand (tested by independent lab).
GET MORE OUT OF YOUR WATER:
Remove more impurities from your water with ZeroWater's unique, 5 stage filter system. With a variety of options, you can have cleaner water anywhere, from pitchers, bottle filtration systems, or portable on-the-go cup filters.
ZEROWATER QUALITY:
Some ZeroWater filters are compatible with other brands of water pitchers. Try switching to ZeroWater if you have used water filters or pitchers from Brita, Pur, Aquagear, Nakii, Waterdrop, Kenmore, Berkey, Fridgidaire, or Aquasana.

This is not an accurate test of how clean the water is. The device used measures "Dissolve Solids" by definition salt is also a dissolve solid. Many companies add sodium and minerals into the water to enhance the tastiness of the water. That is why Fiji Water taste so good because it has alot of minerals. To really test water cleaniness you need to do a comprehensive test by using a water testing kit you can find in a Hardware store or an Aquarium/swimming pool equipment store. Or send your water in to a professional company to do the test. This video only test one variable. There are other things you need to test for like bacteria levels, PH, Cyst, lead, copper, radioactive isotopes and salinity.

lead, copper, salinity would show up in TDS #. bacteria and pH wouldn't, but I believe other videos show ZeroWater ends up with 7 since the things that would affect it.are removed. As for Fiji, yes, they add stuff back in so it isnt a great test for that.

High number is definitely *BAD* because there’s no way in hell that all those high numbers are all minerals so you best believe there’s toxins like lead or fluoride on it and more that you wouldn’t even be 100% sure of unless you strip test it. You want your water in the 20 or lower. Zero is best and you can alkalize it yourself by adding a quality and natural brand of electrolytes or minerals.

They use the same exact filters as reverse osmosis systems use. Good try

All bottled water no matter what has to go through some kind filtration system. Aquafina (Pepsi) is called flat water, zero solids. this is the way they wanted their water to taste. Dasani adds minerals to make it taste different from every other water. this is how you create a brand name. the rest of them add the minerals back just like Dasani (Coke). I learned this when I was on the water conservation/ clean water committee for a large east coast city they were on the committee with me. When you see a fire hydrant open during the day they are flushing the system because too much or not enough of something is in the water and could cause cramps or mild diarrhea before it gets to your house. I have not had tap water in 40 years and if I do I run through some kind water filtration. when they bottle the Pepsi or Coke they both start with flat water for their Soda this is how you maintain quality control.

THANK YOU! VERY GOOD TO KNOW. So "flat" water has NOTHING AT ALL in it? Not even beneficial minerals? I've experimented over the years and I find that if I drink distilled water too long, I don't get enough calcium for my bones and they start to ache. I used to do the Zero Water thing, but all that does is guarantee that there are no minerals in the water so I stopped doing Zero Water and went to bottled "Spring Water" hoping that would work for me. It seems to do better than anything else, but I STILL don't know if there could be some "bad" minerals in it. I guess that depends on which spring the water comes from... if there IS such a spring and not something they just cook up and label on the bottle. It seems that CCP (Chinese Communist Party) tactics are being used on the people in America... "don't let the people know the truth about anything." I do know that distilled water and Zero Water don't work for me since they take out EVERYTHING that might be good for my bones, but I don't feel comfortable not knowing what's in my bottles "Spring" water.

Only using a TDS meter on bottled water is misleading because it matters what solids are in the water. Alkaline waters like Fiji are purposely adding Calcium and Magnesium, salt or even Silica to counteract aluminium contamination etc.. Since tap water is allowed to add fluoride, lead, chloramine etc....Zero water is the best alternative to drinking tap water since it also filters Fluoride, Lead, PVC, Chromim6 etc....

Water with no dissolved salts (specifically) can cause harm if consumed in large quantities. Because the water has zero salt in it it actually dilutes the salt in your body which can cause a medical condition that can lead to death. There is a video on KZbin, with a lady that almost died after drinking 3 gallons of water in a contest. Now, perhaps you are not that extreme. But at the very least water with zero dissolved salts can make you retain water. Fiji, is actually probably the best water there for your health long term. The things that you are filtering out of your tap water are things like lead, chlorine and other chemicals. But you're drinking water should be spring water. 1) Boil your water to kill bacteria. 2) When it cools, filter it with a Zero water filter. 3) Use zero water for cooking, tea, coffee and mixing juice etc. 4) For drinking Water, drink spring water. 5) Never drink tap water strait out of the tap.

Stop trying to scare people with limited knowledge or being intentionally deceitful. You WANT to drink the best water you can. There is more than enough salt in our lives that we do NOT also want it in our water, at least in the USA or other developed countries. Extreme water intake in a short period of time is the danger due to the body's ability to process it. Here are more specific details about this condition: Your kidneys can eliminate about 5.3-7.4 gallons (20-28 liters) of water a day, but they can't get rid of more than 27-33 ounces (0.8-1.0 liters) per hour (14, 15). Therefore, in order to avoid hyponatremia symptoms, you should not drink more than 27-33 ounces (0.8-1.0 liters) of water per hour, on average (14).Jul 31, 2017 This is hands-down the best flow filter you can buy atm. Feel confident in your purchase of this unit. The only downside of purchasing this unit is the higher cost of the unit and replacement filters vs competitors. Personally, my family is important enough to warrant the cost.

Yeah mine here in the Denver, CO area also only lasted 2 weeks before tasting like lemon water.. nasty. It's going in the trash. There's no way I'm spending $1k a year on filters. Back to the old carbon brita which lasts months and cut the dissolved solids in half from the tap. That's good enough for me and removes the chlorine taste.

I wouldn’t use this device to check for the best water, per say. It only checks for purity- meaning if a water is high in minerals this device will give you a high number. I wouldn’t only use the meter to check your tap water, or to compare your tap water to your filtered water to see if your benefiting by getting a lower number. This review needed a testing kit to make it worthy

Pretty dumb to equate the lack of dissolved solids with the cleanliness of water. For those that don't know, dissolved solids are potentially minerals - which give water flavor/feel. Many companies add minerals back in, after filtration, due to the blandness of totally filtered water.

Lower PPM doesn't mean safer water this thought is widely shared by the public and a dangerous misconception. Using a TDS meter to measure ppb lead concentrations in tap water is like trying to use a car’s odometer to measure a child's height…. It's the wrong tool. A TDS meter is not sensitive enough to measure toxic levels of lead, chromium-6 and arsenic. Because TDS/ppm is an aggregate measure of charged compounds in water, uncharged things like motor oil, gasoline, many pharmaceuticals, and pesticides do not contribute to a TDS/ppm measurement For example, if water has lead, chromium- 6 or arsenic that are 100x the EPA limit, the TDS reading will read 000 or 001. They must be measured by trained staff in analytical laboratories that use much more sophisticated scientific equipment than a $8.00 device. If you are concerned about water quality, put the money toward the purchase of an effective drinking water filter that removes harmful contaminants from your water. Just trying to help my friend have a good day UNUS❤✌!
