Great job on the review. I do like the Fleetwood. Like to see it in production. Keep up the good work!!

Thanks, we really liked it as well, but we have recently been favoring the recliners rather than the dinette. If that is going to be an option, it's a definite contender. Happy Travels.

Finally, an RV that's not black and white! Way to go Fleetwood. Build it on the Ford so our butts won't make it overweight. Mercedes chassis has to little CCC.

We were very impressed with the Fleetwood as well. We are learning more and more about the Mercedes payload capacity in these Class C's and we are more than a little concerned. Thanks for the comment.

Why oh why are all these rv manufacturers only using the Mercedes Benz’s drive train or Gas Ford V10. The Mercedes engines are very expensive to maintain and repair.

We have only had the Mercedes, and we agree that maintenance is very expensive. We have been seeing some Chevy chassis as well, but they are few and far between. We were in Europe last year, and we saw a few models from other manufacturers, but the Mercedes seemed the most widespread over there as well.

Have you ever toured an Embassy Class B model or a La Strada Nova? kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5C4gad8abKBl9U That type of pull-down bed means not having to make it up all the time.🙂

No, we haven't seen the Embassy vans, but we are on the lookout for one. That La Strada is gorgeous. They are doing some amazing things in Europe on the smaller footprints. Thanks for the post.

There is no such thing as a B Plus. If it’s a cutaway chassis it is a C. End of story.

There has been quite a bit of discussion of this in the comments. We think most people understand the Class B Plus designation was added as a subset of the Class C designation by the manufacturers or dealers. It's also becoming clear that insurance companies and web sites like RVUSA don't recognize the B Plus category. Having said that, we are thinking that perhaps they should consider adding a category for a Class B/Class C hybrid to avoid confusion. I mean when you have a boxy Class C like the Thor Freedom Elite 22HEF at $69,995 and the Pleasure Way Plateau XLTS which is about the same length with a much different body at over $200,000 in the same category it might cause some difficulties when trying to search for one type or another. If it is really all about making the buying process easier for the consumer it seems this would make sense. We ask everyone to add their thoughts on this in the comments. Thanks.

Class B plus naming came from nothing more than a salesman gimmick. Then, Manufactures started in on this BS too. I agree with Robyn 👍🍻
