That Fleet ratchet is identical to a Penens I have, which are both allied with Plomb/Proto.

Dayton was Grainger’s house brand I believe. They were made by Thorsen. The Thorsen ratchets, even though they were copying the S-K mechanism, we’re actually much stronger because the pawl on those is twice as thick as the S-K

Pepboys by me has turned into advance auto but the service garage has not , I don't know if they merged or one decided to stop selling parts

My father owned a garage for over 60 years. He used Snap-On for the most part but there were always a few odd tools around here and there. I never liked the round head ratchets, mostly they seemed to me to be pretty cheaply made. My old USA Craftsman were crude compared to the SnapOn but I thought they were better than the round head models. You have a lot of tools that I've never seen before.
