How many ph.d holders in GH earn $5 per hour??
@abueghan13637 ай бұрын
How much does a Phd Student make in USA? The estimated total pay for a Phd Student is $134,135 per year, with an average salary of $89,812 per year. These numbers represent the median, which is the midpoint of the ranges from our proprietary Total Pay Estimate model and based on salaries collected from our users.

Kofi is speaking the truth but nothing but the truth. It’s about the economic systems that translates into real wages as compared to third world countries like GH. Not only real wages he also have access to quality health care. Schools if he chooses to attend any , lifestyle and the overall environment!!

This panel discussion is off the topic. Kofi message to Ghana is PHD holders has no wisdom that comes with it to help develop Ghana, so don’t waist your time listening to this professors that will spit the knowledge without the key to success. From NY

PHD's are generally not high earners anywhere in the world. Most people with PHD's go into academia or research. I live in the US where my friends with bachelors degrees earn more than those with PHD's. There is no general correlation with the amount of time spent in school and salary.

I will choose to get a PhD in Ghana than clean toilets in the Netherlands
@roseanne14667 ай бұрын
This guy don't know anything about life here in europe. In Switzerland you earn more but the expenses are way higher than other European countries. Kofi the toilet cleaner makes more than a top manager in ghana and that's with the lowest paying job in europe. A cleaner makes like 1,6k Euro a month. That's a fact!🎉

😂😂,alot of people in Ghana 🇬🇭 lack basic sense of what is saying and this is the reason why Ghana is suffering from the common sense and leadership issues,people with PhD lack basic sense and logic in leadership skills and that’s why Ghana is a failed state

But there are enterprises that pay in dollars in Ghana here. Some even pay in pounds or its equivalent in the local currency. Is a fool that will choose a passport of another country rather than a PHD degree. Do you know what it means to have a PHD? Board members of Ghana Airport Company and many companies and organizations in Ghana pay way more than some foreign countries pay their workers. Also, look at the value of the money, in that country; Holland. Is he telling us that in Holland things are cheap? The money becomes valuable when it moves to an African country with a weak currency. One can receive 3000 dollars or Euros yet, it will not be able to do any meaningful thing in that country. The value of every strong currency is felt only outside it's environment.

What we don't have are industries (to absorb both the educated and uneducated)! Industry is the foundation of every strong economy, not the book_long community. Y'all should leave the passport guy alone. All the PhDs Ghana has produced, what life-saving equipment/gadget have they invented for Ghana/the world? The fact that they only shine when they relocate to developed countries can only mean the GH education system is not contextual. It is colonial and the products can mainly function/excel in an environment with already established foundation.

When you felt sick in Ghana when didn't you go to the toilet cleaner to treat you but you went to the hospital 🏥 where the PhD people work as doctors etc. It's not only manufacturing that makes you knowledgeable but the application and use of what has been manufactured. Without PhD holders who will train your doctors and all other professionals. Stop acting as though you guys are illiterates. I don't care about living my country so what's my business with a foreign passport?

@@Trigger_the_Spirit_man Listen to yourself! Were we not taking herbal meds before the hospital arrived? Did you watch the news recently about the orangutan that treated wounds with plants? It is the industries that creates the need for scholars and non-scholars alike. People like you are the reason why Ghana imports a lot of containers filled with unemployment. You are not able to connect the dots. smh.

We have reached a point after social media awareness, to rubbish ourselves. That's a sign of low self esteem. Yes, we acknowledge our 3rd world status. That guy's analogy is skewed and truth to say, he's just doing that for clicks.

He is a liar, we all have a Dutch passport. Many who came before us has it, but are broke. Is easier traveling with it in other European countries and dat is it. But when you do something criminal, they can still take it away from you and show you that, no matter your Dutch passport, you are still a foreigner
@roseanne14667 ай бұрын
Who told you that big lie???😂😂😂 unless you have dual citizenship that most foreigners in europe dont have, nobody can kick you out! Please do your research before posting bs on the internet
@jidec31657 ай бұрын
The UK stripped a white British man of his nationality several years ago for traveling to the middle east and joining some group there. They did the same to an Asian lady too. You don’t have to be a dual national for any government not to allow you back into the country. Plus it is not easy to get a strong passport nowadays. Those countries now have tighter immigration laws. Yes having a stronger passport is very valuable. Those who have experienced both end of the scale will understand.
