Johnathan Banks: Despite that horrible plot twist and the snooze-worthy boss fights, Banks was hands-down a great Commissioner. 3. Bryan Cranston: A great fit for Gordon. A serious, no-nonsense officer. 4: Tom Kane: "It's been a hell of a night." 5: David Selby: A wise old man, a good fit for an aged Gordon. 6: Michael J. Gough: His voice is perfect for a young Commissioner.

Bryan Cranston is Jim Gordon for me. He has the look, the build, the acting skills, everything. I'm honestly surprised no one cast him earlier on, like in the Nolanverse Batman films. However, Bob Hastings will hold a special place in my heart because I grew up with him as the voice of Commissioner Gordon.

Ben McKenzie is doing a great job with Jim Gordon. It's just like I thought he would be at Ben's age, fierce, determined to make justice, beats every man at their own game, it's the real Batman in shinning armor before the Batman years. I'm willing to see Batman: Arkham Knight too because I love Jonathan Banks and his voice and I think he will make a fantastic elderly version of Comissioner Gordon!

Bob Hastings is my childhood Jim Gordon, and I think he's fairly good. Bob McKenzie is an excellent fit for Jim Gordon in Gotham. But Mitch Pileggi sounds like the best one, he can be serious and take charge and yet he's perfectly comfortable letting Batman take charge.
