Nice comparison video. I agree with your comments noticing the slickness of absolute while drying. That really is where it shines and is very noticeable. You mentioned about being harder to dry, I find that absolute sort of leaves a bit of a haze while drying that flashes off after a few seconds leaving no streaks. With a good drying towel it doesn’t seem to take any more wiping than ONR at the end. Just try wiping it less, resist that urge, and see. If it doesn’t flash off cleanly you can mist and wipe again as it won’t leave any spots that won’t come off with more product. Also, if you use the ultra black sponge the slickness of absolute is extremely obvious over ONR. With the mitt for whatever reason it isn’t quite as noticeable. Absolute seems to have more cleaning power than ONR as well. When spraying it seems to emulsify dirty better.

All great info. I'm not a fan of the UBM. It's personal preference. It's just odd for me to use. That's why I switched to the chenille mitts. Much appreciate your thoughts👍🏼

Nate you should try ONR Revision #5! It has far greater lubricity and gloss than any other rinseless product and dries even faster than the previous revisions!

R5 is not as slick as Absolute. ONR V3 was slicker than V5. IMO they both clean the same.

Good vid. That’s the world we live in. The divide is by design. Red and blue. Most divisive colors. CONtroversy sells too. Absolute is definitely thicker. Almost like a hair conditioner. ONR is the tried and true OG but dude looks like a top hat magician.

Resist the urge to keep wiping it while drying. It will flash off. This is also less of an issue when the vehicle has protection on it.

Nice comparison. I love my ONR and it's my normal "go to" because I have been using it since it was introduced. It does it all and does it well. But Absolute is very good too. I have both of them and use them both also. Rinseless is my primary way if maintaining my vehicle in my garage due to inclement weather most of the time. I agree Absolute probably has more ingredients to make it slick. it definitely looks different than other rinseless washes in it's thickness, almost lotion like floating in the water. But as you said, it does mix up fine. I do have the newest version (Version 5) of ONR and it's slightly different. It seems to be a bit thicker than the previous version, a little more scent, and the color is a much deeper blue. The bottle also has more modern lettering and design now than the previous versions. They are both good.

Absolute is awesome! I use absolute mixed 64:1 as a drying aid every time unless I need to add more protection. ONR is still a good product I agree I just think absolute is a tad slicker. When it comes to any rinseless like you said it’s personal preference. At the end of the day you are splitting hairs on which one is better. There is no best just what you think the best is.

For drying I would probably go straight for a drying aid such as Bead Maker or OG Drying Aid but I understand for the purpose of this video those were not used.

I normally use OG drying aid but I already decon washed it right before parking it for the winter because I plan to polish and ceramic coat it before spring. Don't want anything on the matte stripes. That's the main reason for not using a drying aid. 👍🏼

Awesome video. The new ONR with the wax (synthetic) has the slickest, most lubrication I’ve tried - and I’ve tried all of them. It also leaves a really nice shine. The only rinseless I haven’t tried is the new DIY brand. As long as it doesn’t scratch your paint & cleans that’s all you can ask for, it just comes down to personal preference. The McKees was the only one that ever scratched on me.

Sounds like you have the same thoughts and feelings as me on rinseless. It's personal preference. I did the comparison on mckees and absolute. I can see how mckees would scrap. I'm starting to figure out that the water quality and wash media can make all the difference of the wash experience.

If you need to wipe that often on a small panel then perhaps you need a better drying towel. That’s a lot of wiping

I have gaunlet drying towels but I used the creature so it would show which dries easier because it's not as good at drying

Everyone has there favorites. For me, N-915 was like using sand paper. I really believe the different water qualities in the world make a difference in how each perform in general. If it works for you, I'm glad. Wish my experience was better with it. 👍🏼

16 oz bottle of Ultima (I could not find a larger size of Ultima online) looks to be ungodly expensive compared to 128 oz of ONR with their designated dilution ratios. 128 oz bottle of ONR gets you 256 gallons of ONR washing solution. Applying the same $40 to Ultima gets you 32 oz of it. Which gives you (32 oz X3) 96 gallons of Ultima washing solution. Basically Ultima is 2 1/2 times more expensive to use. If my math is wrong please tell me. And show your work :>))

Your car already looked clean. I used ONR on y wife’s car, it was about a month without a wash.. and that product was fantastic. Had to use many clothes in the process, but I was pleased with ONR.

So from what I understand stand, I used version 4 which was terrible. Version 5 come out last year after I purchased mine so you may have version 5 which is much better. I plan to possibly do a follow up comparison with version 5 vs absolute to see if it is really better.

Absolutely. Think of it no different that washing your vehicle with soap. Same but rinseless is your soap replacement
