My guess is the GB4 is starting to flair in the oil. It flairs less down lane, so it's smoother and less angular. The Vibe is starting up later, and flairs when it hits friction, so it makes a left turn down lane and covers more ground.

I think you do a great job! In this comparison I like the GB4. I have been thinking about going back to an Ebonite bowling ball so this is very helpful.

When I used to have my ocean vibe, I had to tone it down with wet 3000. Out the box just takes off on the friction

I don't have the vibe but just drilled the GB4 and I tried it in practice for my 5 man league. Threw 2 shots and switched to my Outer Limits. GB4 seemed to go a little too long like you described in the video. Outer Limits might have a similar reaction to the vibe actually. Seems like it does from the video anyway. Actually would be curious if the Outer Limits has a little pop off the dry to carry the corner pins from way inside in a comparison
