@@Citizenesse8 thanks, I hope you decide to buy land , outright, cash. I am a land surveyor, and have been for 24 years. My story is looked at with judgement, I have never tasted alcohol or drugs. Never done any criminal activity, but I have worked very hard for 24 years and had 5 houses with land and 2 empty pieces of land stolen all of which I paid off in full cash and owned from day one. and my bank account has been robbed, I have had a estimated value of $484 thousand stolen, so I gave up on nice things, I just have what I need know.

I am 72. Throughout these years I have come to realize that happiness is not based on money. I have seen many people who have everything you could possibly dream of. And they are the most unhappy and suicidal. And I have seen people penurious and they always have grins on their faces. Be happy with the life that God has given. Because the alternative is a life filled with pain. Life is an attitude. Check it! By the way; your place is beautiful! Love it!

Thank you, brother in Christ. I love that you got a good trailer rental.....so smart because you are being frugal and using God's wisdom to watch your money. Well done! I had the 1300 square foot townhome with a garage for years.....and now I want to be more like you.....more of a minimalist. I sold the house, donated half of my things to a thrift store and now live in a small 1 bedroom apartment and am completely content. I have the gift of joyful singleness and serve Christ as a missionary. Again, nice job and always love hearing Bible readings. Hugs!

Lovely new home. Back in 1979 I bought a brand new Excel 26' and my park rent was $60 with water, sewer and garbage, I paid the power and phone bill. I lived in it for 11 years. Married in 1983, after the husband passed and the kids grew up I bought a nice 1967 small house 2 bedrooms 1 bath and turned the 2nd bedroom into a cat room and built a catio attached to one of their windows. I own the place and my property tax is $42 a year, not kidding. Enjoy your new home and bless you.

I really like that tiny house! Good flow, and use of space! I downsized to a travel trailer 12 years ago. I had the huge house (it’s highly overrated)! Listen to what he’s saying, it’s so true. All that “stuff” burdens a person. Besides it’s not like you can take stuff with you when you pass… serve God, enjoy life. I love the fact you applied it to the Bible! Spot on! We have been living in our 5th wheel for the last 18 years after downsizing from our 3 acre mini farm. I am able to do all the things I did on the three acres except for having chicken and goats. I have learned over the years that bigger is not necessarily better. Peace of mind by not being in debt is such a great feeling! Learning to be frugal and living on less is a wonderful blessing especially in today’s economy!! 😊

The Holy Spirit led me to your channel. I don't believe in coincidences. God is SO good. You are SO right; your video is spot on. We are to be happy for others and be grateful for what we have and don't have. The Bible says this. Phillipians 4:12,13 12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. We are to serve God and be the salt and light of this world. We are not to serve the flesh. God Bless you.

Hey brother...I'm in North Carolina. I, myself, also bought an RV(new though. not that it matters) and park it on my parents property. Im greatful that I dont have to pay lot rent. Only paying the RV monthly payment and I moved in today...feels very different then living in a $2,000 apartment, but the amount of money I'll be saving to live here will be no comparison. I actually feel blessed to be able to have downsized because the rent is crazy right now. So many people out there have no options and end up paying the high rent prices, living pay check to paycheck and or get into major debt. youre doing good man.

Good message, and congrats on your new place. You made a perfect choice for living frugal. To make your trailer last for many years, either put a cover over it like an awning or portable garage and / or buy and use Eterna bond tape. One of those choices will increase the life of your trailer by years. Bless you, and thanks for sharing.

Good to hear from another brother in Christ. You are exactly right. Things of this world is meaningless and the desire of things of this world is sinful. Live modest and focus on doing things that’s pleasing to God. It’s like you was saying, we are all responsible for our own selves and we all should focus on our salvation instead of money and other things of this world. Hope to hear more from you.

Your new home looks like it has been well cared for, congrats! I'm not sure I understand, but apparently your are paying $1,100 a month for your space rent, and that is $1,000 less than a basic apartment wherever you are - sounds like a smart move. I'm a young senior, and here is some of my frequent observations of people/society in general: a lot of people do not know how to be thankful for the good in their life or how to appreciate the value of what we own - even if it is not a lot. Learning to be thankful automatically increases happiness - and happiness is the antidote for stress.

I just found your channel and I subscribed. I’m about to lose my 10,000 square foot home because we can’t afford it anymore. My husband had to shut down his company of 35 years after the pandemic because he lost too much money and couldn’t recover and everything is still trickling after 4 years and the house was the last thing. I know God has a reason for everything and I believe this had to happen so we could become humble and see what is really important and it’s not materialistic things it’s JESUS. I used to be a shopaholic and buy everything I wanted not what I needed and I always had 2 or 3 of the same thing just because I could. We are going to be moving into a much smaller home but it’s ok, I have to get rid of half of my things and it actually feels good. I love your trailer, it’s so cozy. I thought if we can’t get a house to rent we might have to get an rv or a van conversion. Whatever God sees fit for us is what I want. God bless you.🙏🏻
