Your analysis and the 2 Italian ladies in Melbourne go in the same way, I haven't seen many others take that pathway but it really makes it obvious to the viewers behind the screen! I wonder if you trained in the same way (vs for example many of the American ones).

I watch a lot of these videos and think spring is the least common of the 4 main seasons, so I love being able to watch when an analyst identifies one. Sarah (and the Melbourne Italians) being my favorite because they say what they’re seeing in such good detail. Another great video as always!

I'm a color analyst, too. I believe in it wholeheartedly. I wasn't sure it would work over video, but wow! When you put the spring green over her white "cape" her skin looked like it cleared up immediately. Works great! Warm undertones are at such a disadvantage with black being so popular. Some of the colours of bright winter can work in some bright spring. In my case, black and white (pure colours) don't work on me at all, and I am a bright spring, quite the same with cold red from bright winter, I prefer the tomato red from bright spring. Qute the same with the girl on the video, I love warmer fucsia and barbie pink, they fit better on me but winter fucsia, makes me feel sick haha

Incredible. I think she’s muted bright for sure. Her blue eyes lend themselves to bright Winter as well. Had she green eyes, which is typical for her colouring, she would have been an Autumn. I’m converted. You do a great job steering them in the right direction because it’s not as easy to pick those colours for yourself as it is for someone else to pick them for you. We are biased to what we are conditioned to wearing. But when you try the alternative, the answer is obvious. Some colours make you notice the colours themselves. And some colours make you notice the person. Some colours actually animate faces.

I find it a bit confusing that in the autumn vs speing comparison, jade green is used as low intensity, which doesn't look like an autumn color to me (?), and it seems like it doesn't work because it's too light and cool, not primarily because of the intensity... Another thing that's confusing is that the warmth came out quite clear at the beginning, then later it was said that because she's bright, the undertone doesn't matter so much. That seemed a bit theory-driven... Or is the obvious warmth a screen artifact and not so clear in real life?

@@sarahryanthestylecoach then why split them up into cool and warm? I can see borrowing from the same Spring section as they're all warm, but not from a cool one.

I would love to see how Sarah has used her palette, after some of her comments about what she has previously been drawn to.

Oh that’s a great idea! I’ll ask her if she’d like to do a follow up video!

Just a suggestion, it's a little distracting to have your arm in front of her/his face when you drape...maybe it is better to drop the fabric from the corner or go under her neck?
