Great job! I love the way these engines are built; simple but efficient! Dutch regards, Nico.

@@HGProduction hey bro I have a question. What air compressor / tools did you use to take off the heads? Can you recommend any that are decent ? Or can you do this without compressor

did you have a P0300 CEL ?
@Shop-os1ol10 ай бұрын
This is NOT a good video as it is only half a repair. At 11:53 showing the cracked/scuffed lifter roller, your camshaft is also junk. No new lifter will last on that worn cam lobe.

Have a question for ya... got tapping from the back of my intake manifold (fast intake 102) would a lifer tick make the intake manifold vibrate in the back?

How much would the repair cost for replacing both sides be meaning all 16 lifters?
@kenwood82882 жыл бұрын
Costs are not the same for all. In a perfect world you’d just need a head gasket(2), manifold gasket(2), valve cover gasket(2), lifters(16). It’s way cheaper to do it yourself. But you might run into issues like if you messed up you cylinder heads. Your cam shaft might be fucked up from a lifter. If you do it yourself it can be a few hundred dollar job to a couple thousand dollar job. If you let a shop do it it’s going to be prolly 2K+
@kenwood82882 жыл бұрын
That’s also not to include rocker arms and push rods, maybe trunnion

@@HGProduction What about now? And how many miles would you say you drove it on that cam since? I pulled the heads to replace the lifter and I see some scaring but it doesn't look as bad as yours. Debating if I replace the cam now. I'd very much like not to lol
