Complete Disassembly: Sig P228 P229 M11A1 Part 2: lower frame tear down and rebuild

Part 2: This is a tear down of the lower slide in case you need to swap springs, do a tri-er job, deep clean, swap triggers etc. The time where I start putting everything back together is 11:40.
The videos I referenced by accidentalGunsmith in my trigger review have been deleted (I'm assuming to the demonization and crack down on gun channels) so I wanted to have a decent HD walk through for people to follow like I did. We miss ya AG!

Final note and thanks: Gun channels on KZbin have been demonetized and have been under extreme scrutiny and unjust bias for being on the right side of the spectrum. Great video, your video is the only one that helped me with my 229 Elite Enhanced full takedown. I used frog lube and once I realized what garbage it was, I had to strip everything down to the bare bones to get it off.

Getting caught up on your videos, I could not find hammer ( main spring) at my sig store at Obetz out of stock , so going back armorycraft for 8 piece spring kit $17.99 and shipping. I think you said in another video you used 19lbs spring. Anyway the trigger will be here Monday and I will clean up what is in the gun for now . Thanks for the video man! I just converted my P228 DAO to DA/SA using this as a guide. What kind of grips do you have? Now that I have a decocker installed the factory grips nowhere close to fitting.
