I built a new furnace recently. Similar to Devil Forge. For my first melt, I did aluminum, brass, then copper, 1 to 2 bars each, that way I could study the performance of the furnace thru each melt, so I could study it thru the different temp requirements, identify if any concerns, and see where the heat might me escaping. Then add corrections. Seemed logical to me. So far so good. Awesome. Great job.

Nice work brother , I know that wool is not cheap that should last a lot more now , I had to re tack the top ov mine the heat gets to it , great watching bro , bloody raining here again so no melting as well cheers brother
