I'm doing push pull legs .. with more rest days than work day and day it feels so much better

@@Watsonclipsfordays everywherea lagging on me haha but my back is out of balance a bit so i will be focusing on it to make my look better. Its only my second week into it but think it will work for me as im not doing heavy weights so i think frequency will work well

That's Dante with his Doggcrapp training that started the back width and thickness paradigm, it did attract a fair amount of the geek crowd. I will add that the teres major also aids in that wide V look, especially in the armpit area. I see some guys with lots of lat development, both thick and wide overall from waist to top, but with little to no V taper, in part probably because of having a lousy physique structure but also probably because they do no to little vertical pulls that works the teres major, aside from the lats, be that in the frontal or sagittal plane.
@boxerfencer3 жыл бұрын
@Thor Odinson yeah I imagine that happened as a result of popularizing his system.

I don’t think doggcrapp training started the “thickness and width paradigm.” That’s been talked about for decades

Joe, I have been stumped forever on how to change the loading on back movements so that they're lighter at the top, any ideas? Other than prime equipment that my gym doesn't have. Everything I think of assists more at the bottom and decreases assistance at the end range which is the opposite of what I want...🤔🤔

When doing the single arm pull downs should I bend at the side at the end of the movement?
@RDS_Armwrestling3 жыл бұрын
A small side bend can help get a deeper lat contraction because they do have an assisting role in spinal flexion to the side, so yeah go for it, as long as you're not using it as a way to force more weight with poorer form.
