Thanks for the guide! Was looking forward to it! One very important detail about Ravagers: when upgrading them into Riders of the Swamp their status goes from Beast -> Rana+Beast, meaning that they get buffed by both Rana and Beast research from the Dragon Pyramid.

The repel spell has an added benefit: when a unit moves past your guards to your archers and you kick the unit back with repel, every one of your units it moves past gets an opportunity attack on the repelled intruder. I discovered this by accident. :)

This very quickly became half of my strategy when I realized this. Hard to argue with nearly free damage when the positioning allows it

I love Itchamo, destruction is really powerful, this can be your main wielder or just a clearing one, low investment into units and very powerful spells from destruction. I usually focus on getting destruction 2 and 3 and going for command with units that generate 2 destruction mana. As main hero you can clear difficult stacks that wouldnt be clearable for regular army based wielder and you can give other units to your 2nd wielder. As a 2nd wielder he does the same, clearing weak camps is super easy, just get at least 3rd lvl and the game is going to be easier only

Eth'dra are weakish since they have ambush and this is more of a kiting ranged unit. You can have them very early I would consider them as a good powerful early booster, also they can survive some weaker units attacks.

This needs to be one hour longer to be called a guide or a tutorial. Just an overview, unit statblocks read out loud. Simply watching one multiplayer match would teach any newcomer more than this.

Thanks for your thoughts! The longer a video gets, the less people watch it. And I do a "tiny" bit more than just reading out things, but I get your criticism there. If I'd cram everything to know into one video it'd please a niche audience of a niche audience and I hope you understand that I somehow have to try to make a living off of my work after all.

As a new player that's never played a HOMM game, these videos are exactly what I want. I'll MAYBE watch a multiplayer game video at some point in future, but for now I'm just playing the campaigns and having fun. Afterwords I'll likely try real AI games, at whichpoint I'll get a lot more out of watching a multiplayer game, or someone doing hard AI games. I'm not trying to minmax or do anything because of a meta, just better understand what everything does. Trying to do so by blind trial and error wasn't as fun as I'd thought it would be after a little while. As a direct result, it took me 3 separate attempts to really get into and enjoy the game.
