A comprehensive review of the OP. I think the black blue and silver are very classy, but I do think the green looks great, I wouldn’t have bought any of the other colours, but maybe the pale blue one for my wife. Regarding the oyster bracelet, I would definitely leave it on for the life of the watch, an Oyster Perpetual NEEDS the oyster band, it’s what raises the potentially bland, minimalist no date watch to the classy watch it is. The band is THE iconic design that shouts Rolex, the links, the way it catches the light in the corner of your eye. The Sub suits an Oysterflex, Everest or similar band, it’s a true sports watch and the rubber really works. The oyster would just look like a fairly normal sporty timepiece. For me, the OP is a great GADA watch. Regarding your presentation, it’s good, but just a suggestion, when you’re in the studio, raise and enlarge your position in the frame, so your head is higher in the shot and get some audio insulation to reduce the echo. Sorry if this sounds critical, but it’ll just make the presentation perfect!

Everyone will have varying tastes regarding the dial colours and that’s what is great about having so many options to choose from (if they were all easily available that is.. 😅). I agree with you that the Oyster bracelet is a necessity on this watch. It just looks great and elevates the aesthetic! I love the classic green color! Perhaps for my next Rolex... Just picked up the Datejust 36mm with the sunburst blue dial

I think the oyster is a classic they wear very well with a suit shirt and tie not everybody wants a dive bezel when wearing really smart cloths.

Very nice color 😃 If I could I would get the Tiffany, Orange, and Yellow color dials in 36mm. I think a green or perhaps a black rubber strap might look good. The celebration dial might get discontinued in the same period of time as the Tiffany 41mm.

124300 is ref number of 40' model. 36 has different ref number

Also candy pink was the only color that was introduced in 36mm only, and the only color that remains untouched. Another interesting thing is on celebration dial only candy pink reached the crown. My guess is that candy pink some day will become a highly collectible 🤭
