I just beat him, needed to check smth in the middle of the fight, video was useful! I beat him with a party almost identical to yours, just had a warrior turned MW instead of the opposite.

Considering that I intend on having my other 3 party members master all the skills from 3 classes each, my hero will be at a very high level. I will probably try to do something like get him killed then wait to resurrect him until my other party members catch up so they can get more experience.

Zoma's not too bad the first time around. In the postgame, if you decide to fight him without the Sphere, he is a bit tougher (but not nearly as overly difficult as people make it out to be). But you should be fine if you go against him after beating the postgame bosses. Do a couple Class Changes/Reincarnations for your three characters before you get there and the fight will be pretty easy.

This is guide is mostly for casual players who dont wanna grind much and are having trouble with surviving his attacks. Judging by everything you said, you probably dont need this guide😂.

Good luck I have a pretty good party and I can't beat him on level 64 hero. It's ridiculously hard I play on hardest difficultly tho. It's almost too hard really It's making me mad as hell

If you're playing on normal difficulty, 50 might make the fight too easy lol. I hope you still enjoy the fight and that you enjoyed the vid!

As long as you find at least 50 monsters, every party member should reclass into MW. Monster pile on plus wild side just makes everything outside the temple of trials cumble to dust. Even if you arent using pile on spam, wild side giving double turns is too insane to pass up on.

Well yes, idealy, like I said in the video. But for those who dont wanna reclass everyone, having 1 or 2 wildside monster pile-on users can be enough. Also, multifist does more dmg than pile-on depending on how many monsters you have, especially with the occasional crit.

​@acwano but you can't use multi fists twice unless you reclass your ma until a mw like op suggested. I'm about to do just this because of not being able to beat this stupid ass boss lol

@midnight347 well thats exactly what I said in the video... lol. I've also been preaching the MW intro MA transition in all my videos. Definitely one of the best combos in the game. I enjoy this video and the stuff you made, but admit that I find this overkill. I had Sage, Martial Artist and Monster Wrangler (MW was a sage before I changed them) and the auto fight whipped his ass so soundly that it wasn't until the last couple turns I went 'oh right I have wild side I should try that out' because he just couldn't get through me. I rolled credits and I don't know how much of a post game there is as I haven't played since but I found the dumb hydra thing way harder and played manual for it. I think Dying Fires gave me more trouble even

People have different experience depending of how they play the game and how much they grind. I had more trouble with Dying fire too ngl😂. But for a casual player who didnt grind much, they might have difficulty with final boss. It might be overkill but its fun to mix max.😤

I'll revisit my gear and strategy, have a hero at lvl 53, Mage lvl 50, Priest lvl 50, Monster W. lvl 49 - Still not able to beat Zoma.

@@HolaMigue Im glad you enjoyed it, I hope something here helps you beat it. Do you have a sage with dulichat? could help with healing your entire team. if you cant beat him at that level, the problem is probably your gear. Try to buy the anti ice earings at Mur, maybe they'll help. And check if you got the auroral armor for the hero, top of rubiss tower.

@ Thanks for the time and sharing your wisdom here 😄 in the end, the problem was with having 2 mirror shields 😅 was finally able to beat Zoma after removing both shields. Thank you so much!!

@HolaMigue Oh yeah I definitely dont recommend mirror shields. flame and silver shields are better here, way better. Anyways, im glad you beat him! enjoy the post game, its pretty cool. Try to get all the xenlon wishes when u get there, I have a guide about it!

Is was around lvl 40 as well with a monster Wrangler a sage and a martial artist I morphed my sage into the Wrangler everytime he got rid of my buffs and just wild side and monster call him down, was around 1500 dmg per turn if the martial artist also got to use the call 😅

Only on Dracky mode else even at lv 99 I still won't last for 1 turn on Dragon quest (normal) mode at all.
