I am with you on not hanging onto books you know you won't read or loan out or reference a lot. I used to hoard every book I ever read and now I don't because 1. Who has the space for that? and 2. Books exist to be READ, not to sit on a shelf or in a box collecting dust. I am all about donating books, giving them to friends or trading them in at my local used book store!

I am currently reading V.E. Schwab's Shades of Magic series and I am on the final book. I loved the first two, but found myself dragging through the third book. I love series, but feel sometime's author's go way overboard with how many the put out. I grab a book that sounds good and then put it back when I see its 1 of 12 hahahaha. If you enjoy fantasy and want a good read Juliet Marillier and her Sevenwater's Series. There are three books in the original series and she added three more continuing books to the series. They are beautifully written. Happy Reading!

The Legend series is getting a fourth and I believe final book this year, coming out in October! ACOTAR is also getting three more books, but I believe they’re from a different perspective so I always count the first three books only as one series like you did.

Work out for the day done after lifting the Throne of Glass series, haha. I think I've probably finished about maybe 10 book series... Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the Heroes of the Olympus, Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, The Hunger Games, The Grisha Trilogy, Six of Crows, Inkworld Trilogy, The Lunar Chronicles, Strange the Dreamer and I could have included Miss Peregrine's but it got extended (not complaining).

This is an awesome number, I've just gotten into YA in the last year so I'm in the middle of so many of these but if I counted all of my romance and urban fantasy series I know there would be a ton. And no, there is no way I would be able to keep all of them. I keep my top faves and the rest go to new homes!

I love the feeling of completing a series! Nothing is better than stumbling across one that's complete/the last book is coming out within a few weeks or months. On the other hand there's George RR Martin. The 5th Game of Thrones book came out in 2011, and book 6 has no publication date in sight..

Have you ever read any of the gone series by Michael Grant? I feel like no one ever talks about it. It's like Lord of the flies meets under the dome by Stephen king. It's one of my all time favorites. Even though I kind of hate the main character, but I usually do😂

Wow 38 great, I've got 25....I just went thru my bookshelves.... I have to admit I have 3 but.... 1 I'd one my dad built me, and one was my Mother's before she passed away and her books, my aunt gave me one of hers plus yes the books on it and a great aunt who was a mystery buff and library volunteer... When she passed her daughter-in-law me all of her 150 books.... Some first press Agatha Christie and Perry Mason books. Canned up giving some to a friend who can't buy books, and our apartment complex has a bookshelf that they call the library exchange. You put the books you don't want and take a different want, and my local library preys on my weakness😕 and has a library bookable of donated and old library books once a month.. Books are between .50cents-$3.00
