I’ve been so bad about reading series lately and I don’t know why! I’ve just been more in the mood for stand-alones. 🤷♀️ I’m doing a “Sequel September” where I’m going to try and finish up or at least continue on with some series I’ve started this year. Idk if it’s already a thing or not, I just sort of made it up and am doing it on my own but yeah. I need to finish these series so I can start some others! (Specifically, The Raven Boys. Haha.)

I loved A Conjuring of Light! I just binge read it in three days or something! It has good romance and a satisfying conclusion

The fast pace of A Conjuring of Light totally made up for the dragging pace of A Gathering of Shadows in my opinion! I think Victoria wanted AGOS to be very character heavy because ACOL is very plot heavy, and the two complement each other very well. Tell us what you think when you finish! :)

This got me so hyped to read. Loved the series you talked about! Please read the Red Rising series first!

I binged the conjuring of light in two in my opinion it’s the best book in the series one of the things that I liked so much about this book is that most of the characters gets a POV and you see their perspective and how they feel

I need to pick up the Red Rising series. My brother recently finished it and loved it. I have never heard of the Rebel Machanics series, but it sounds interesting. I just devoured three books in the Diviners series this past month. I hope you get to all of these! 🙂💜

Not sure it was intentional, but your Grimm Brothers/Sleeping Beauty pun while you were talking about Spindle was excellent. "The Disney version and then the really grim version..." Amazing. I think you've spoken about The Wrath & the Dawn in previous videos -- adding this series to my list! -Les

On the Shades of Magic series: I gave the first one three stars, kinda like you. But then I gave the second 4 stars and the last one 4,5!! So it definitely gets a lot better, even if you did not LOVE the first one. You get to know the characters more and that's nice because you actually care about what's happening

I need to finish Harry Potter, but I thought I would leave it until the end of summer since summer makes a person want to read lighter and fluffier stuff. I began reading the series as an adult since I only got to read the 2nd book as an 11-year-old.

Muss Peregrine's just gets better and better. I am the same with Darker Shade. I read A Darker Shade in 2017 then the second in 2018 and still hasn't reas the last. I read the first Hidden Oracle when it first came off and it has been years. I just read the second Aru Shah and loved it a lot more than the first. YOUNG ELITES IS MY FAVOURITE ❤❤

Not going to lie, I didn't love Spindle AS much as A Thousand Nights, but I think it's still a really decent sequel! I particularly loved the way spinning was incorporated into it so would definitely love to hear your thoughts if you get around to it soon :)

I have some series that I have yet to complete. Shatter Me series, Heroes Of The Olympus series. Sometimes I just love to start a new series whenever I feel like it. An example of this is Aru Shah series by Roshani Chokshi. 😂

the last one almost has 2 plot tbay changes in the middle to the other, but it fit really well for the finale, and part of it feels like SOC

Okay, I need you to finish The Young Elites trilogy because it was amazing. Not as amazing as LEgend, but amazing nonetheless. Adelina blows my mind to this day. BTW, I'm not a fantasy person like at all, I prefer sci-fi but have been watching your videos to try and get into fantasy.

I'm currently reading A Gathering of Shadows. Apparently, I started it in November 2017, and I recall it not grabbing my interest at all. Earlier this year is when I gave it a second attempt by reading 50-100 pages before pausing again. I only just recently reached the 300 page mark and literally nothing is happening.

Yeah, AGOS is sloooowwww and nothing really happens until the tournament which is really late into the book. Clear case of middle book syndrome.

A Conjuring of Light was so good. I didn't think there was anywhere she could take that book and she managed to do it anyways.
