1:46:07 the true best way to farm those chests is to do that intro cutscene thing on your shield striker and then use the skyreader program on pc to save the 9700 gear bits to your figure and then spend them in the game and rewrite the bits back into the shield striker and keep buying it over and over. never have to replay that intro cutscene ever again. skyreader is also super jank with vehicles so you can’t even cheat gearbits onto the vehicles. maybe you can and i was doing it wrong but it always corrupts your vehicle and deletes your upgrades. always save your data onto the program before messing with it

Also I can’t believe you never mentioned donkey kong and bowser being in the game and how they have their own special challenges. DK’s was the hardest one to do for me. I’ve done everything except trigger happy and the land pack since it costs like $200 to get all those pieces 😀

astro blast is the most powerful supercharger imo, you just need to get his chargeup upgrade and the upgrade that lets you spam the chargeup without losing it, then if you pair him with the rainbow hat he can kill any enemy in seconds

LOVED the trap team review. Great vid! Superchargers is overly hated in my opinion. The revamped versions of old Skylanders are so cool, and it's a very fun game despite all of its flaws.

One way to fix the problem of lack of skylander playtime due to constant vehicle sections, is to play the superchargers in imaginators, because the engine is the exact same, and most of them play great.

A bit late but I also what to touch in on something. Mainly my own personal experience in the Nintendo versions (Mainly Wii U). Am pretty sure everyone knows this but Donkey Kong and bowser are skylanders in Superchargers. I don’t have hammer Slam bowser however for the rest I do have (including Bowsers vehicle however, I haven’t even touched it since I just want to save it for when I finally get bowser) including turbo charge DK. And I used him in my first play through coming back and loved him. His first attack is just a few punches his as per usual, second is DK using a bongos which can deal damage for a certain amount of time when placed before disappearing. His third is DK launching himself with a barrel and aiming it at the enemy deals a good amount of damage. As for the upgrades are mostly just making attacks stronger. However after getting one of his upgrades you can turn your self into a big DK (I forgot what name it was so for now am going to call it his big form) with a few different moves like rolling around the barrel and stomping on the ground while objects come down to damage enemies. Lastly DK’s Soul Gem is him summoning Diddy Kong after playing the bongos for a while and he deals quick amounts damage to nearby enemies before leaving after a while. And of course he has two upgrade paths. One for his bongos and the other for his big form. Imo I really love using DK because of how destructively fun he is. Especially if your using both Diddy Kong and his Big form that can deal so much damage to do much enemies. Now as for DK’s vehicle the barrel blaster is like most vehicles. The primarily attack is shooting barrels (obviously). His second summons, a circle of barrels that you can hold or let go and let them fling around the place and if it hits a enemy it will deal damage. The Barrel Blaster is ok. Nothing special to say about it honestly. I mainly use the second attack since if you hold on to them and draft around the enemy you can deal a quick amount of damage. But that’s really it And for the clown cruiser……I honestly don’t know what to say since I haven’t play with it. When I finally have bower I will give out my thoughts on it. Yeah that’s all to say. However there are some things I want to mention about the Wii U version before sighing off. The obvious part is the lower graphics, but honestly I think it’s still good regardless. The other part is the insane amount of load time it has. No matter what you will get a load screen either by entering a l Race, or even a level depending how short the cutscene is, heck even when you boot up a a file there will be a loading screen. And the loading mainly when booting up a save file takes a unhealthy amount of time. And the worst part is the Wii U version is the only one with this. No other console has this even the Xbox 360 and PS3 which makes zero sense since the Wii U uses the same hardware as the 360 and PS3. However the part that sucks the most is you can’t get the cosmetics in the Wii U version. The only way your able to do that is if you have pertendo but that’s only if you mod a Wii U. So it’s impossible to get everything from the game. Which sucks since I didn’t get a chance to get them all. Plus I really like them and I think it’s the best in the series. That’s all I have to say sorry if I made this a essay long.

You know a few fixes for the vehicle sections, or the vehicles in general. Would have been to just make the controls more responsive, the vehicles themselves faster. And maybe make it so you can ride them almost anywhere in the level, though that last part might have been a bit more difficult to do.

Land is okay in my opinion, but yeah. I can't stand of Sea vehicules. Especially that I used the Splatter Splasher, which is a great vehicule for racing because it is the fastest Sea vehicule in the game, but in the Story mode... This thing is just too fast and make it sucks for the story. Oh by the way, about the opening scene, me too I didn't understand why this dude is back even tho we send him to prison. Well the answer is... From a comic Book. Yes, if you brought this comic book (which I forgot the title), you can see what is actually happens between these two games. 👀
