Whether you're a red or a blue you've got to be happy for this getting complete. A nice new addition to the waterfront and will hopefully allow more concerts and shows to be held which will increase tourism, especially towards the North end of Liverpool which needs it most imo.

Liverpool fan here. Great stadium, hope it generates the city more tourism and attraction. In terms of football, the Toffees need to step up their game, we really don't want to see Everton go down, it really harms the city as a whole.

Barca fan here. I love stadium design, and this is a good one for sure. But it isn’t special. It’s basic but great. However, nobody is going to travel to see a game in it. Goodison Park at least has serious history. I’d be just as interested as attending a game there. Now if we want to discuss stadiums that ppl will actually travel to see… the New Camp Nou is going to be the biggest stadium ever, by far! And have a roof. And 3 terraces around the outside to view the city (which is actually a nice Mediterranean city and not a dingy dirty northern isle’s sheet hole). Ppl will travel for the best stadium in the world with the best footy in the world. Nobody will travel to watch Everton play Preston in Everton Stadium.

Everton need to start picking up points (not blowing 2 goal leads), and rapid time. Michael Keane will cost Dyche his job. Switch to a back 3 with Branthwaite LCB, O'Brien RCB and Tarkowski CB. McNeill LWB and Harrison RWB. Garner and Iroegbunam or Mangala DCM and Doucoure AMC with DCL and N'Diaye up top. If he doesn't do that and plays Keane in a 2 man CB he will get sacked and if its too late Everton will go down.

The reason that stand dips and is lower is because directly behind it is the United utilities plant. They would of had to have went further back like the south stand does and the club don't own the land. Also the right to light laws come into play.

The difference from a 53k - 60k seater stadium in terms of cost is huge. Probably at least another 200m. Even this was originally menat to cost 500m but went over 250m due to covid, Ukraine war etc which upped the cost of building materials massively. I honestly think if they'd had went for a 60k seater you'd be taking close to a billion which would have definitely put the club under financially.
